johnezz
Any fans?I bought their best of about a month ago and im really digging it. Duane Allman and Dicky Betts are guitar gods, some of the best white bluesmen ever. Gregg Allman has a great gritty blues voice. And the twin drumming is great. My favourite southern blues-rock band, shit all over Skynyrd IMHO.Anyway, they have heaps of great tunes. If you think Slash is a blues guitarist (which he really isn't) then check out these dudes for some real blues. Alan Niveen
Great band. Duane Allman played with Clapton on Layla.
igyhi
One of my favourite bands. Betts/G.Allman were one of the greatest guitar duos ever in Rock History. Great live band too. Tons of great blues covers, as well as original songs. Blue Sky, Statesboro Blues and many many great songs. You should get "At Fillmore East," if you want one of the greatest Live Albums ever.
