New Rose
Any DT fans? This album is the shit, one of the best albums I've heard in a long while. The story is fantastic, cant wait to get more into the album. So far my favorite tracks are "Overture 1928" and definately "Home"! B)

New Rose
Is that the new album mano?Nope. Thats Octavarium, the one you have. Scenes is their fifth latest studio album, released in 1999. Much better than Octavarium tho.you know i only think ive heard like maybe one song from them on the radio and i probably couldnt even remember what it was. but i think i remember likeing it. what exactly do they sound likeWell the exact genre would be progressive metal, tho DT's stuff varies so much its hard to pick a genre for them. I suggest you to download some tracks if you have the chance, like "Pull Me Under", "Hollow Years", "Metropolis pt. 1"(shows how crazy they can be), "Home" etc. etc.Dont forget to buy the albums tho

Genesis
It's a daft and confusing concept (they all are) but the music is great. The first album of theirs I heard too.
New Rose
Agreed. I first thought when hearing Dream Theater that "Wow, did they get uncreative or what lately" because of the same lines/melodies in songs. Then I realized how they relate to eachother, so now I love it.Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is awesome too, The Glass Prison and the Great Debate are one of my favorite DT tracks. New Rose
I dig the first one As I Am and In the Name Of God.I'm not keen on them. Then again, DT albums should be listened as a whole, they're much better that way.Getting some DT album today... I'm thinking Images and Words or Awake.
