Bucketslash
think about it,technically cc controls live albumscc controls tourscc controls radioif cc got pissed at merch technically they could force it(or he could start a tour through viacom with mixed results, merck's choice)

fade
Could force what? CC doesn't have any influence in GN'R affairs aside from possible touring venues. CC just owns rights to book many different venues, that is it.

Bucketslash
no, cc controls radio tooand if they control venues, ther can block large venues and cut off promotion, plus by cutting off a tour they cut off a live albumcc is a pretty big monopoly..... Padme
CC is not a record company. They don't control live albums nor studio for that matter. they own radios but the programing director is actually the person in charge of the music/radio formatThey are show promoters but not the only ones. And they have nothing to do with the European festivals
Bucketslash
the other promotoers are chump change compared to clear channeland clear channel CAN technically block songs from american radiothey control stations in some of the largest citiesthink about itchinese democracy falls through it if dosen't hit the american chartsand it can't if it's not played on cc stations(which owns stations in new york, philidelphia, florida, ect)that, and the blocking of gnr at cc venues, which own ALOT of the american venuesexample, the dixie chicks...... Outtagetme
Average Artist that care about commercial success - Clear Channel can heavily influence/W. Axl Rose, the man who doesn't care if this album ever comes out - Nah.... I doubt they have much influence.
