I've heard the 16 second clip and it rocks. to me it sounds like the 2002 axl. not quite hitting the high notes, almost as if he's got something stuck in his throat. if it's not axl it's the best imitation i've ever heard, and I'd like to know who it was so i could check out more.

Haha, indeed.

Bow down to the king!

Hey! Can you imagine Axl doing THAT song??

Now that would be interesting.

Seriously though, I'm always hearing that song in my head when I see Axl these days. :P

Three letters: I.R.S.

I really think it's Axl after listening to it more. It's the part where he goes, "Every change we lived FORRRR" (or whatever the lyrics are, I'm tired). No one can mimic that well enough to be convincing. And also the part at the end where he says "To save what we heee-aaad." That's the Axl whine.

Nice to hear a more aggressive up-tempo track. Not sure if its Axl, if so, it'd fall in line with the production of "Catcher;" ie kinda shot vocals, more reverb, etc. This 15-second clip can't give you a real clue about the song, though. Can't wait to hear the rest!
