My "point" is that country music has always vastly outsold rap music throughout the lat 30 years, or so, and is, therefore, far more "popular".If by "popular", however, you mean - with the mainstream media and MTV - then you're probably correct. Country music does not really garner half as much attention as 50 Cent's tales of woe in the 'hood.Personally speaking, I've never found country music that inspiring and I think rap music has always been far more innovative and progressive.
