Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
What's Going On is breathtaking. And the usual hits were all brilliant as well.
swlabr
I don't know why but I really dislike the 9/11 version of What's Going On. I understand it's for charity but I just didn't dig it. Marvin Gaye is the man.

bax
It's a classic. It's a shame people don't get in Marvin's albums and just focus on the hits(evn though those were great too).

adnan
My favorite album is "United", "What's Going On?" is obviously also a classic.
Spoon87
Marvin Gaye is the greatest! I love so many of his songs, I can't even name my favourites now. Haven't listened to him in a while... gotta change that!
Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
Seems he was one of the few Motown artists who made great albums, the same to Stevie Wonder I suppose.Nonetheless I'm looking to buy a Motown box real soon. igyhi
Marvin Gaye kicks ass.The cover version doesn't exactly suck, but it's not good either because when you remake a classic, you better make sure you nail it, or put a creative spin on it, or else you shouldn't even bother. Which is why I hate so many cover songs, but that's another topic completly. Also, there's no better music to make sweet love to a woman to than Marvin Gaye... well except for maybe Pendergrass, I guess.
