adnan
I guess this is old news for most of you, but I got the latest Rolling Stone just now and saw this article. Pretty sad, apparently they went bankrupt and now all the stores are closing. There's a cool bold quote in the middle of the article though: "It's the end of an era," says Slash, who stole cassettes from Tower as a teenGee, I wonder why they went bankrupt?! Truckin'
Does nobody care? This is the end of a legacy. Tower was the last surviving 'record store' chain. They had such a deep and diverse collection....

Patience 4 Axl
same with cbgbs which is actually closed now.Yep. It's a huge blow for New Yorkers and so many people who used to go there and get to see some very cool bands. I went there a few weeks before it shut down. It was very sad. And I had no idea about Tower! Now that sucks!

W. Axl Kev
That sucks, I've been to the one in Hollywood a few times! I actually briefly met Shifty from Crazytown in Tower. Rad!
