Vincent Vega
Yes, the Elton John song from the 1994 (good year btw) Disney film "The Lion King." And no, this thread isn't a joke. While the lyrics themselves weren't penned by Sir Elton, his overall performance and the music he wrote for it is amazing, a really great song that he performs on, awesome lyrics and a moving sound. It's amazing how much Elton's voice has changed over the years!
Axls Rocket Queen
I love that song! (yes I'm sad )We played it in the library at halls for my friend Jade the other day to make her cry...worked brilliantly
nameless_girl
It starts out pretty well and Elton John's voice is flowing throughout, I'll give it that, but the chorus always makes me cringe. But then, I was never one for sugar-coated ballads.

axlslash
All of Elton's disney stuff is phenominal. Same goes for Phil Collins. I love what those guys did for the disney movies!
inthisriver
I haven't listened to that song in a long time. I love the Lion King. I cried when Mustafa (I thinkg everyone did though) but I was only 7 or 8. I also so the Broadway play which was pretty incredible. It had more Elton songs than the movie. IMO The Lion King is the best Disney movie ever. And the songs good too.
