I mean did he even mourn and cry when Jon Nödtveidt died?

will he cut himself in respect on the death day of mayhems old singer 'Death'?

if he sees a pig will he kill it with his mouth?

I think not

:sleeper:

you're jealous cause you dont have his face and talent

He does have a talent for making boring, safe songs.

You sound a bit like the american idol judges.

Back on topic, i love heat of the night.

He's just a great love song singer.

Used to be a pretty big fan of his. Guess to some degree I still am. He's got one of the best voices ever IMO. Could have done a lot more with it than the watered down soft rock/adult contempo he does now. Back in the day he actually kind of rocked. His best stuff was of course from the 80's. Into the Fire is his best album for sure. Victim of Love, Into the Fire, Heat of the Night, Remembrance Day, Native Son, Coming Home, Hearts on Fire, Rebel. Damn that's a great album, and the lyrics actually had some substance to them unlike most of his work). He rocked semi-hard and his songs were always full of catchy hooks and melodic guitar and vocal lines. Every album of his up to and including 1996's 18 Til I Die had some really catchy pop/rock songs with guitars turned up that you could enjoy while not taking too seriously.

Let's be honest, his music wasn't truly great or anything. It's pop/rock, but that can be very enjoyable if you are in the mood for it. And yeah, he also was a pretty great live performer. Not sure if he's still got it, as I've pretty much stopped following him. Last show of his I saw was I think back in 1994.

Nowadays unfortunately he's just like Bon Jovi, only with better songs. Bon Jovi has become truly awful (at least what I've heard, which is whatever they play on the radio).

Bryan's best songs IMO:

Win Some Lose Some

Fits Ya Good

Cuts Like a Knife

Straight from the Heart

Take Me Back

The Best Was Yet to Come (just a beautiful song) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M27vdeIjI2E

Heaven

Summer of '69

Kids Wanna Rock

Victim of Love

Into the Fire

Heat of the Night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tL2iNMgvhQ4

Remembrance Day

Coming Home

Native Son

Rebel

Hearts on Fire

Everything I Do

Vanishing (best song on Waking up the Neighbors - very underrated song)

Thought I'd Died and Gone to Heaven

The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me is You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWFN3Q3ok9E

Low Life

I Want It All

Lots there, and there are more that I could add. He was pretty damn consistent over many years.

Can't really disagree there. It's been a while since I've listened to BA, but listening to some of these songs now they do seem just a bit sterile compared to the bands I like nowadays.

Surprised I missed this thread , I was going thru my old vinyl , and I was surprised to see , I still have some! (1st. self titled album) I remember "Hidin' From Love" , man what a cheesy song , but catchy!

"You Want it , You Got It" ... I remember "can't stand another one of those LONELY NIGHTS"! , and "No One Makes it Right" , like ya do , like you do , yea!

"Cuts Like a Knife" ....Yea the title track , plus "This Time" , "Straight From the Heart"

Couple listens to those songs and you'll be singing them in your sleep!

Of course "Reckless" is the top of his mountain. I liked Somebody , and Summer of '69 (which incidently we played in my band back in the 80s)

"Into the Fire" .......Liked it , it was a little different , but it's tough to follow up to an album like Reckless!... "Heat of the Night" , "Victim of Love" , and "Hearts on Fire" are the tracks that stick out to me.

It's a good thing he wasn't fined every time he blurted out "YEA" in a song , he would prolly be a fry cook now if he was! :(

It's like "EVERYWHERE I GO , The KIDS WANNA ROCK!!!!!!!!!
