I have a Windows XP desktop computer, if that helps.That doesn't really help at all...but most likely the microphone input on your computer is a standard 3.5mm one.It also depends on what microphone you've got. If it's a cheap one with a built-in cable. Or a better one with a XLR plug.Anyway if you're going with the regular soundcard on the desktop computer (wich makes the thread about the "best microphone" seem like a waste)you need a something with XLR in one end and 3.5mm in the other. Easiest way is probably to look at what fits in the microphone end, and then look at what fits in the "hole" on your computer. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
