highvoltage Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 DATE: 21st April, 2007TITLE: Paul Dainty: Guns N' Roses Tour For Australia Still Going AheadTEXT: New reports overnight that the Australian leg of the Guns 'n' Roses has been indefinitely postponed are incorrect according to promoter Paul Dainty.Dainty has once again confirmed to Undercover News that reports emanating out of South Africa last night that the Australia and New Zealand Guns 'n' Roses shows have been postponed following yesterday's decision by the band to pull out of South Africa have not been confirmed."I spoke with them last night and they did not tell me that," Dainty told Undercover.Earlier, Japanese dates were postponed after bass player Tommy Stinson fell down a flight of stairs. Guns 'n' Roses postponed their Japanese dates because of the injury and yesterday also put South Africa on hold.The South African shows were to take place in Johannesburg and Cape Town on April 27 and May 1st. "The South Africa dates are next week," Dainty said.
