The General is grating and uncomfortable. Not just the lyrics, but the music too. It fits the vision for the song. Even though both it and Monsters have very standard song structures, they manage to both be completely weird which is what I liked about the Chinese saga. Artistically, isn’t that what The General should be?

Maybe Axl is the daddy and we’re all saying “no, we don’t want to!” “Give us Appetite blues rock or TWAT epics!” But no, Axl was our (Mac) Daddy all along

Thank you, papa Axl, by take care of us. The General is better than the old one.

    Totally not Stockholm syndrome…

Hey bud? Take a break. Read this post later. Reflect.

    What makes you say that?

It's def not "epic" in the way everyone thought it'd be.

What makes me say it's terrible or what makes me say people think it's better. I'd use Occam's razor for both. People are saying it's better than they thought it would be, and the song blow goats harder than Noah Vanderhoff.

I'm on my first graveyard shift working night audit at a hotel after doing mornings for several months. It's pretty enjoyable honestly. No managers on site and the audit runs itself. I'm getting paid to play video games and watch Netflix after my hour's worth of actual work is done

I may or may not have some shifts where I get to time attack Double Dragon.

many of the most vulnerable have already died, the new variants are less virulent, etc.

Here's the key. The flu kills people every year as well, but you don't have people getting tattoos to commemorate their flu shot, or more importantly, losing their fucking minds at those who don't believe they need to get a flu shot.

Are you denying that the vaccines reduce the likelihood of severe disease?

    Yes.

There's no way to prove either way, because vaccinated people still die, and unvaccinated people still have mild illness.

  6. Yes, they've gotten rid of them. By stopping the virus from spreading. Not by making you feel shitty for a week after you get it and the making you feel shitty for yet another week because you still caught COVID. But thank God I got that vaccine or think of what COULD HAVE happened. COVID has morphed into a cold at this point. Again, if you feel safer with the shot that still lets you get sick, go nuts.

Got my covid booster today from Walmart. Good to go now.

This will be a yearly vaccine just like the flu shot.

Doesn't have to be. If you wanna keep bending over feel free though.

Yeah, it obviously bears repeating that we vaccinate ourselves not necessarily to protect ourselves but to limit the spread of the disease onto the weak and frail.

Regarding this? All the people who did get vaccinated to help protect the vulnerable in our society.
    Who is selfish? You are.

I never had any symptoms of anything. As vaccinated people were still fully able to get the virus, a vaccinated person showing no symptoms standing next to me would have the same chance of infecting someone frail and vulnerable. You're welcome to bend over and let them stick you with as many things as you want, but get the fuck outta here with that "you're selfish" bullshit.

The news was talking about how many people are not getting the latest covid booster

Perhaps it's the purported ~40% efficacy of it that doesn't seem worth it, given the side effects. I'm not talking nanobots or whatever the fuck people are on about I just mean people being knocked on their ass for a few days after getting the shot. I never got vaccinated because I am young and healthy, I also never caught COVID.

There's rumours that in the upcoming film Indiana goes back in time to the WW2 era and paradox's himself out of existence. This chick puts on his hat and replaces him, setting up for her to star in a show for Disney Plus - this does not bode well.

    No fucking way this happens.
