The Ringo Starr show we had lined up for a few weeks from now just got rescheduled due to Covid within the group. That's not happening until September now. 

So I guess the next show for me is Roger Waters in August. I'm super excited for the Waters show (as usual) so I'm cool with that being the next big concert I see.

Thank you and I totally get that. I don't remember when I started this thread but it was probably 10 years ago or so. That's a long time. 

Don't get me wrong, I alwsys love vinyl. I have an undying passion for music and that will never, ever change. Just know that as a person, I'm a lot happier now then I've been in a VERY long time.

That's one thing I always made sure to do: we spun as much as we could all of the time. I had a lot of high dollar stuff that we spun constantly. I wasn't interested in owning it just to own it, ya know? I wanted to hear all of it.

Yes and no. We had people over to spin records every Friday for about 9 years. So I got a ton of use out of the records. These days I've got enough else going to where I'm honestly just fine with the faster, more convenient option of streaming.

I've debated in recent times on condensing pretty seriously and going half vinyl and half digital or something.

My issue is I feel like I will little by little just build my collection back up though, so I'm not sure if it's worth purging a bunch of stuff or not.

When I first moved down here, I was thinking I'd rebuild the collection to some extent. After a few months, I'm starting to think I won't bother. That collector was a LOT to keep up with and I don't see trying again going well 😂

I saw Blind Melon once in concert prior to Shannon passing away and it totally changed my tune on them. But I do see how they wouldn't make the list for many others. 

Damn Yankees is a good call out, bit didn't they release two albums at least? Their Self Titled Debut and the follow up called Don't Tread?

If you’re even a half-way regular poster in a GNR forum in 2022, your ass is going to be all over it and you know it. All the lol emojis and dismissive posts in the world can’t hide that.
