I accidentally clicked back to reading old threads in AG from ten years ago. The forum was much busier and I got way nostalgic! There seemed to be a common theme of people with personal issues they wanted the forum to discuss, and with random insane threads such as ‘happy birthday Robert Mugabe’ as if he reads this place.

Back in the golden age. When you had so much crap being posted. Remember the mafia games?

But ticket prices are one of the main reasons I don't bother with many big shows anymore.

Likewise. I was just looking at Kiss tickets in the UK. £110 plus fees for standing. and half the floor is golden circle which is £188.
In the end i bought another ticket to see Sabaton in April for £47 so i see them twice in one weekend

Got tickets for RHCP next year and the fees were $50 per ticket.

They're awesome seats and I'm stoked for the concert, but fuck ticketmaster :max:

is that 50 a ticket and the fees or just the fee's on top of the ticket price?

I purchased tickets for Sabaton last year and the tickets were 37, but about £12 extra in fee's

Me neither. It's become an event not really for music fans these days- just a day out for the rich Instagram crowd.

It's a publicity event getting bigger and bigger names and trying to cater to all tastes. For example, 2019 had Babymetal playing. Not exactly the usual Hippy crowd you get at Glastonbury

You can get a used Seamaster for like 2-3k. There are probably 100 different “Bond Seamasters “

This is the 1st result i got when i googled "Bond Omega Seamaster" https://www.ernestjones.co.uk/webstore/d/1159984/Omega+Seamaster+James+Bond+Numbered+Special+Edition+Watch/

But even at £2k what does that watch do my £18 one doesn't? I get everyone has a hobby, and fair play to you for it but i fail to understand dropping £2-3k on a single watch
