I believe that would have been the case sans the constant touring. That’s definitely something that can be fruitful in the not-so-distant future as long as there is a long time off from touring. It would be cool to see those 5 guys play Appetite all the way through, I’m sure there’s a contingent of fans willing to pay a premium for that.

What would be the result of them returning? Returning to what? Axl’s diminished vocal abilities and Slash’s slop? That old band during the hunger era is long long gone. Never to return.

Nah, he is being vague and rightfully so(he obviously cares about his job). He knows exactly what was being asked of him. I think his response points to the inner turmoil he probably feels about the entire situation. No matter what optics you are using to judge his response, the results are always the same…….
