  1. Germany reportedly would consider cutting off the horde from SWIFT, but "first they need to count how much would it cost them and that the cost wouldn't be so high".

    FUCKING CUNTS!!!

meanwhile, Ukraine is slowly being murdered and idiot western politicians only care about what to do to not make Putler angry.

Problem with cancelling Russia from swift is, that it will affect the Russian population probably worse than the regime itself. I feel the call for swift is more of a symbolic gesture people call for, but it might not be the most effective. Despite, Putin already found ways to regulate his financances without swift anyway

that is correct, they already must have expected this and planned in advance with other "friends" of theirs.

Since in 2014 they overthrew that regime, I only hope that they will do the same and defeat Russia and get their freedom and country back.

they pretty much already stepped away from the old regime in 2004.

and yes, horde wants to annect them, but they are fighting for their freedom now.

sadly also for ours and they are losing.

I just saw the video of president Zelensky in wich he states that he and his ministers are staying in Kyiv and are ready to fight. This man's balls must be made of titanium!

When is the last time that an actual leader of a country pretty much led his troops into battle? That is some middle age stuff right there, damn.

The man is basically dying for democracy, while the rest of democratic europe is arguing and bitching about wether or not to implement strict sanctions.

    correct.

meanwhile the invader horde is already threatening Finland and Sweden with military action.

    What is Putin’s end game?

This is what I can’t get my head around…

Say he installs a puppet regime.  Does he think it can sustain?  It didn’t in 2004 and 2014.  It will take perpetual military occupation to keep the government he wants.  Does Russia have the financial means and resolve to that kind of commitment?

This strikes me as though Putin’a actions this week come from a position of weakness rather than strength.  It’s nothing but short-term calculations.  I keep reading that Putin is playing the long game but I honestly can’t see where this ends up other than a protracted fight that further isolates Russia politically and cripples their economy.

This feels like Putin is playing checkers, not chess.

very hard to guess. it also A LOT depends on how the ukrainian folks are willing to resist in case of military defeat. holding UA down with military might could be economically devastating for the occupant, but it's hardly possible to fight tanks with bare hands :(

If that’s true it would make him even more dangerous, because then he had nothing to lose

it might be that he's old and wants to finally leave a huge mark in the history books, and make sure the old SSSR is restored before he dies.

    psychopathic bastard.

Putin is in 70s. It's a little late to try take over the world isn't it? Some think he's not in good health. Based upon recent events I'd say they're probably right.

Sanctions are good and all, but it won't do anything. China already has Russia's back and that's all they need. Once again China has the chance to be on the right side of history and they don't take it.

they want to do the same thing with Taiwan Republic of China soon, that's why.

I hope you're joking. Just seen a video with a tank running over a passenger car on purpose on an empty street. Nothing incidental about that, the tank just went out of its way on purpose. Plus the bombs falling on residential areas? Have you seen the news? Or was it just trolling?

yes. plus they just bombed the shit out of hospitals, kindergarten and civilian shelter. they repeatedly hit residential areas with rockets. fuck those bastards. war criminal Putler deserves to end like Gaddafi, murdered by his own people preferably.

I think you're confusing Germany with China

no, I'm not. you can ask for example Putler's great friend Herr Schröder for details. Germany would probably sacrifice everything to the east of their borders within an eyeblink if it "would prevent WW3". everything they do is to desperately not make Putler angry.

    thanks so much, "friends".

good that we can rely on the rest of NATO instead.

germany wants to prevent a third world war by any cost and they know that the price for that is the ukraine

if they are so naive to believe that they are going to stop after they destroy Ukraine, then they really never changed. always have been Russian best friends, they still are. I have no words for that.

Apparently Italy and also USA vetoed ejecting Russia from SWIFT, what the fuck?

I'm not sure about USA, from my knowledge it was (yesterday) Germany, Italy, Hungary and Cyprus.

I vaguely remember noticing something like "USA is not considering it yet, but possibly in next package", but my memory is too scattered atm.

in any case, those bastards have been preparing for this and even if we do it, they will build a new "eastern bloc" with China, today Kazakhstan has already expressed cooperation too.

    Selfish stupid Nazi cunts.

their former chancellor was a huge "russian friend", basically an agent. I think since the invasion, he hasn't said a word so far, what a cunt.

even our president and his predecessor, normally fully and deep inside Putler's ass, expressed that this is wrong and even said that "madman needs to be isolated".

  13. Just now, Oldest Goat said:

Yeah my reaction to his speech was this guy has brass balls.

Uhhh what's Germany's excuse for blocking that??? Those cunts are lucky to even exist after WW2 if it were up to me they would've been dissolved and absorbed into their neighbouring countries or maybe given to the Jews actually, instead of Palestine.

they fear that they will lose russian gas and prices of energies will rise.

Yeah I'm aware the Chernobyl plant isn't active. The report I heard must've been incorrect it said there's that site plus 15 active plants in the region. But 4 or even just one is bad enough.

Very concerning. There's some Ukrainians protesting outside the Russian embassy here in NZ and they prevented him from entering so the cunt had to slink away. Heartbreaking hearing them talk about how they don't want their families back in Ukraine to die.

Gotta respect the Ukrainian President. And also the Russians protesting in Russia, 1700 arrested already apparently.

President of Ukraine had a speech with balls.

unlike western politicians, who AGAIN reacted just with "concerns" and will do nothing at all.

cutting off Putler from SWIFT was blocked by Germany. of course. the most faithful russian ally during all history.

we are again witnessing full scale western betrayal, just as it happened in 1938.

Wonderful. They're in Pripyat Chernobyl fighting around the radioactive site and 15 active nuclear reactors.

nah, that place is not active for long time anymore.

on the other hand, Ukraine does have 4 other huge nuclear power plants active and those are under threat by the steppe bully.

No, it doesn't. But it has to do with the comparisons with WWII, Hitler, etc. that people often tend to make but are historically off, (in my opinion).

they very well are. "protection of ethnic Germans who are being oppressed elsewhere", "Czechoslovakia is the obstacle of peace", "Poland attacked radio at Gleiwitz", "preventive war against neighbours", etc.

of course these are not exactly the same, this is different time and different place, but the parallels are more than striking. I find it very sad that some people fail to realize that.

maybe it's because their country has never been invaded by Russia. historical experience teaches one something.

I'm in Vienna currently and I had that same realization. They're literally bombing cities that are 500-600km away from where I'm sitting

they are using MLRS to shell residential areas with dense civilian population. fuckers. no difference compared to nazi bombing of cities in WW2.
