  1. Wasnt he doing the intros for Slash, MK @ The Conspirators?

I remember Slash concert this past summer in Madrid, and hellyeah, that amazing voice was there right before You're A Lie

No. That was Pete Merluzzi, 2010/2011 Slash's tour manager.

btw, BcBob was Duff's bass tech, and he also did the introductions during the "Believe in me" tour and Loaded early years. Then he was with VR and then he went back to GNR as Bumblefoot's guitar tech.

  2. Woodstock 1994 was billed as three more days of peace and music. Promoters brought in big acts and attracted over 300,000 people. Guns N'Roses was invited to appear but declined, saying the show was "too commercial." But SLASH managed to be there!

Paul Rodgers put a band together including SLASH, Neal Schon, Andy Fraser, and Jason Bonham. They rocked Woodstock! The video producers chose one song from each band, and for the Rodgers band, they chose "The Hunter".

Also, this quote from Marc Canter:

    5) Between 1994 and 1996, were there ever any "one-off" performances talked about or planned?

5)nothing that I know about other then an offer to play Woodstock 94

Check out band introductions, Gilby is introduced as "someone who actually likes to move around and use the ramps and utilize the stage"

  4. I don't know what really happened, but was funny. I just watched the dvd a few days ago. Pretty cool recording!

During Welcome To the Jungle Robin threw his micstand and also Tommy's and Richard's micstands.

The crew guys put everything in place, but then during Mr. Brownstone Robin threw his micstand again. Tom Mayhue seemed pissed off too

  5. Lyrics (thanks to Ryan from thealterbridgenation.com forum for typing them up)

    World On Fire

Well they say that we are tragic and they say we’re born to lose
You’re the misfit I’m the sinner you’re the heathen I’m the fool
But today you’ll be the master or the slave it’s up to you
Or my beautiful disaster take me anywhere you choose

    Don’t fight it, ignite it
    This much I’m sure

I think it’s time to set this world on fire
I think it’s time to push it to the edge
Burn it to the ground and trip the wire
You may never be this good again

It’s like a new religion speaking tongues come see the light
Do not trip on inhibitions that will only waste my time
Let me tempt you with the evils of the flesh and so much more
Like a babylon redeemer like a pusher like a whore

Just try it, you’ll like it
    I’ll give you more

I think it’s time to set this world on fire
I think it’s time to push it to the edge
Burn it to the ground and trip the wire
You may never be this good again

    It’s so dark I can’t see
    All the truth inside us
All i want is to feel something that’s real before the end

    Close the door
    Turn the key
    Do you like
    What you see

    Kill the lights
    Oh come to me
    Set it off tonight
Baby just like fire on gasoline

I think it’s time to set this world on fire
I think it’s time to push it to the edge
I’m so fuckin’ bored so trip the wire
You may never be this good again

    Just trip the wire
    This world’s on fire
    Just trip the wire
You may never be this good again

  6. Oh yes, the crowds are wild, doesn't matter if it's in a small venue. The same level of insanity as GNR at Ferro I would say. lol

We have an annual inflation rate of 25-30%. However in 2012, 825 pesos was considered really high because in 2011 Slash tickets were 500 pesos when they played at the very same venue. Promoters were to blame.

  7. That's actually really good, same price as GNR show but more intimate venue. No idea what the fans in Buenos Aires were telling me then...

I went to six Slash concerts in Argentina (2011 and 2012). Ticket prices were between 350 and 825 pesos (including ticketek service charges), depending on the venue. They played in 3 different venues both years.

    .

Actually 825 pesos was pretty expensive for us in Argentina at that time, but totally worth it since it was in a pretty small venue.

And of course they rocked everytime :headbang:
