  1. Argentina sales are going well. Prices are very reasonable. The venue isn't the best, it's smaller than the 2010 and the 2011 ones but it's ok. I'm attending the 6/4 one

There's still tickets for standing in front of the stage, do you know if they do anything for international customers, like collect on demand? I was looking at buying tickets, but there's no delivery options until after you've entered your credit card details!

you can buy the tickets on these two pages: www.tuentrada.com or www.fullticket.com. Not sure if they ship worldwide but you can buy them now and retire the tickets up to two days before the show (4/4) on the Stadium

By retire, do you mean pick up from the box office? If so, guess I could do that.

Yes, you can pick up tickets from the box office at the stadium until two hours before the show starts. That's what they (fullticket.com) told me by email.

  2. I still have all these in FLAC format too. The instrumental version of Estranged is awesome and Axl even did the melody line on piano which was cool too hear. The source is the original DAT tape that Alan Niven gave to a fan to share. It had to be converted from DAT to FLAC in order for it to be shared. This was almost 7 years ago.

    Share please.

  3. Somewhere in 1995 or maybe 1996 Axl was taking more lessons. When I mentioned it to Slash his response was "great so now he can play the guitar instead of Paul and we can hire a new singer"

It's pretty clear Slash didn't like Paul, not even a bit

  4. Some more info about the red dog artwork from the UYI2 CD and cassette would be great. It looks so rare, nice find!

The red dog artwork is found in the CRC versions of UYI 2. CRC was Columbia Record Company, who shipped out cds and casstettes. I just happened to have it on cd as my copy I normally use for listening (not anymore!)

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that!

btw I would also love to hear that Think about You uncirculated demo from the first GNR demo tape!

  5. 150 really? Do you have a link? I wouldn't buy it at THAT price though.

(EDIT: Nevermind.I just found the link)

I browsed through the entire site and I really love it. There's so much stuff I can only dream of having.

The Solo & Side Projects page is awesome, I never saw all those realeses in one place. Very well organized and informative.

  6. I love this song.

Todd Kerns just answered the same question on his website

    http://www.toddkerns.com/ask_dammit.html

Hello Todd, fan from the Philippines. Did you sing the backup vocals on the chorus of "Bad Rain"? The one that goes "aw aw aaawww"? And will you please play it 2 weeks from now in your Philippines concert(May 4)?

Good question. Actually that is Myles on the recording but I do it live. I love singing with that guy

  7. This came up a couple days ago. I was wondering if you're the one who filmed this or you know nothing about this recording...?

This is the only footage from this now famous show. Shot October 13, 1989 at the Parkview Plaza Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. A few nights later The band opened for the Rolling Stones at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Another Biff Tv and The Ponce exclusive.

  8. Marc, What do you know about the lawsuit against GNR for allegedly plagiarizing the song Riad N' the Bedouins?

Singer Axl Rose and Guns N' Roses band members and album producers copied portions of two of Schnauss' songs -- "Wherever You Are" and "A Strangely Isolated Place" -- for a song used on the band's last album called "Riad N' the Bedouins," according to the lawsuit.

  9. Thanks. I agree, Duff es a very smart guy. I read in his book that he was so happy to have his brother back in his life.

What do you think were Slash's thoughts when he read the news about Duff and Axl? Was he mad at Duff?

    .

  10. Hey Marc, just curious how often do you talk with Duff?

Do you know his band Loaded? What do you think about them?

What was your reaction when you find out that he played with Axl in London in 2010? Were you surprised that they settled their differences sooner than anybody thought?

  11. I don't know how true this is, but I remember reading somewhere that Estranged was the second part of November rain. If it would be true, the songs would come up in about 19 minutes.

    I think you're right.

Now i remember, Matt Sorum said it on twitter

Oh yah It is a November Rain. Piece of trivia November Rain and Estranged were originally one complete song, a very long song

    This is from Slash's book:

Prior to releasing Appetite for Destruction: (...) Tom [Zutaut] did manage to get us into the studio with Manny Charlton, the guitarist for Nazareth, at Sound City Studios on Whitsett and Moorpark out in the Valley. We worked on demos of 'November Rain', which was about eighteen minutes long in its original version, so needless to say we really needed to sit down and focus on arranging it

Marc, do you remember anything else about this? Thank you!
