I did meet him after the Adlers Appetite show and he was super friendly with all the fans and he was thanking each and every fan for coming to the show.

Why does anyone needs to hang out for 20 mins with him after the show to know if he can play or not?

Axl din't even hang out with his hired hands in his solo band, the dude had a separate bus, now if I start talking about Axl, his list will be pretty long.

Being in a band, office, team, or organization is often more than being able to do the job.  Can you handle the extracurriculars?  Can you get along - avoid meddling, discourse...  Can you follow direction and are you able to compromise peacefully?  Are you flat out annoying?

Also, can he play a whole tour of that magnitude?  Can he?

A fan meet n greet is not getting to know someone.

    Hi guys,

by accident, I was watching the footage of GnR playing in Buenos Aires on 4th Nov 2016 a few moments ago. And I stumbled across the scene after Out Ta Get Me, where Steven wanted to continue with My Michelle but, they turned his drums off! You can see it in the video here (1:45:33) - just click on the play-button:

And the most emberassing thing is. The whole band, Axl, Slash and Duff go away and hide behind the curtains, because they're probably too emberassed to interact with Steven, because he's like "WTF is going on here? Why did they turn the drums off?". Look closely. And this is the only time that Slash starts the Wish you were Here thing at the front of the stage. I would love to know if he was okay with what had just happened or if it was just an Axl thing and Slash just thought: OK - let's get through that and just pretend that nothing happened... It's really to see. But Duff and Slash acted very professionally as if nothing happened.

What do you think? Steven was right it seems...

Once again Adler twists things up.  He didn't start playing another song and that's clear from the video.  Yes they cut the lights and probably the sound on his kit for slash to start the next song.  Possibly adjustments for when Frank comes back.  Adler's a moron and an ex-junkie who lies or twists shit up to make himself seem like the good guy.  If you can't see through his shit your living in a fantasy world...with him I guess.

He was fired in 90 so, before you go calling someone a moron that you don't know, maybe get your facts straight at least dumbass.

90...91...  He's still a moron.  He fucked it up for himself, the band, and the fans.  If he kept his shit straight and didn't fry his brains he'd still be drumming.  He's an unreliable child though and that's why he's not drumming for GnR

For it to become a true Gn'R tune much work needs to be done, and you need Axl, Slash, and Duff as well. (buttfuck it like Duff said) I didn't include Steven only cause you need all the writers in the band.

But avocado seeds only come from Izzy. It's like Out Ta Get Me or Don't Cry or YCBM only became those tunes after they got the full Guns treatment from all the songwriters in the classic line up. Izzy probably writes a tune in 5 min or at least capable of that. He is way more organic, he doesn't seem to labor over tunes like Axl for example. But he was the foundation and all his solo albums contain so many Gn'R elements it's not even funny.

I thought as his solo albums went on he went from the GnR blueprint to more so sounding like Bob Dylan...  but I could have them out of order since it's been a while.  Box is a great example of what GnR missed when Izzy left.

And Slash did? still wearing leather pants releasing cock rocks albums. Everyone is the same really. Izzy didn't veer too much from what he likes, Stones influenced rock n' roll, chuck berry stuff, gave us some reggae It's still great. It may not be versatile, it's not like he's saying something new, but each album has value, he has a very grounded way of looking at life and his music captures his essence as a human being and musician always.

Start with River and Juju Hounds and go from there, but he released 10 great albums and his latest tunes did not let me down.

As in staying with the band (time went on comment).  I love his solo stuff by the way.  Even so, aside from a few albums, they're far from GnR writings.

Without Izzy, Gn'R would never have become a reality. What's the song that got them signed to a major label? Don't Cry. Who wrote half of Appetite? Izzy. First Illusions single? You Could Be Mine.

Who laid down the musical foundation? who's the most talented songwriter? who wrote a song Axl had to have even after the breakup? Izzy, Izzy, and Izzy again.

His solo albums are perfect representations of the man. It's not generic, it's great. Sounds like the Gn'R source to me.

Edit: and he fuckin' wrote Nightrain.

That's all true.  But that was then.  Time went on and unfortunately Izzy didn't.

wow not only you don't know how to use the quotation tool, you're also blind and put your foot into mouth while dissing a person.

I am female and I kind of lean more heterosexual than homosexual, so I'm not into models and I don't know what other crap you said because I can't even read it.

No, Im not in a band... why should I be?

    jeez

Really? No, they are THE BAND. The rest are additional musicians that are totally dependent on the three. Period. Mind yu that even team brasil was scared to advertise the "current line-up" until months into the tour, not knowing if they last until the beginning of the tour :rofl-lol:

Really.  It's not a band without drums and the rythm guitar...or keys for that matter.  They were advertising Axl, Duff, and Slash playing together for the 1st time in 25 years.  It's simple stuff, I don't know what you're having trouble understanding.

There's a difference between a partnership and a band.  The band is the group of musicians playing the songs.  Really simple concept here folks.
