All he had to do was say "I talked to Axl" in one interview, and less than a month later, anything GNR does for the next decade will be a disappointment short of there actually being a reunion. And if the reunion is actually announced this year, I will eat my fucking hat. It's not happening guys. There is no reason to think that it's happening. This is just sad.

I'd love the Appetite line-up just as much but saw too much reality TV of Adler so that soiled it for me. I have no interest in seeing Gilby or Matt for whatever reason.

I don't understand all the Fortus hate. Lets call a spade a spade, he is 5x the guitar player that Gilby is. Now of course, Izzy would be my first choice. But if he is not part of the equation, why in the world would you want Gilby over Fortus? Other than you just plain hate all things nugnr related. I myself am of the opinion that I want to see the best possible version of Guns n Roses, and given all the past members, Fortus IS the 2nd best guy that has ever had the "Izzy role" except for Izzy himself.

Final nail in the coffin to kill Axl's continuation of Guns n Roses. Axl and Slash never spoke. Axl never considered the reunion. ??? (speculation).

All the rumors and hoopla of late really does kill any chance at Axl doing anything successful with Guns from here on out without the old faces in the band.
