  1. I love all the bullshit insiders that can give vague "insider news" but can never reveal a source or give actual details. Everyone claiming to have contacts is full of shit.

Not everyone. It's not hard to figure out who's legit from their track record. Some people have told us about things literally weeks before they've been public knowledge. MSL, for one.

And if someone with a connection to Guns said 'My source is BBF' then from that point on they wouldn't have a source anymore.

How would investigative journalism work if people had to reveal their sources?

I get the thing about revealing sources for most cases, but the only info has been stuff that anyone could speculate. Nothing concrete.

  2. Axl has heard everything that I have to say by now so there is nothing else for me to tell him right now. I think he will do what ever he thinks is the right thing for him to do at this point, which may be nothing at all for now.

No worries anyway. Axl wasn't going to be calling.

  3. What the fuck happened to reporters actually finding shit out. You know investigating, finding contacts, sleuthing?

gunsguy is a reporter, ask him.

We got information. Downzy was told that Axl is working on music and that there are plan for next year despite DJ and BBF being out

I understand that it is hard to believe. But that´s the info we are given

Yeah that's no more than a guess anyone could make. Thanks though

  4. Btw does Motley Crue comes 3 hours late to the stage?

That doesn't have anything to do with the performance itself.

The performance of Axl's band is amazing, everyone is energetic and all, but when you are talking about a live band, many things also matter, I am just talking generally about any band if you are comparing that how interactive the band is with the fans, if the main person who is in the band since so many years even going for the Meet N Greets which fans pay for, how long do they keeps the fan waiting, if the security is not well coordinated that they don't return a Mic which a peron caught or tell people to take off tshirts of a former member, I know none of the things I said got to do with performances, but Im just speaking in a general manner

Btw does Motley Crue comes 3 hours late to the stage?

Do they play for 3 hours?

Not sure, I saw Slash and Crue play live in Berlin, After Slash's show finished, I came out and waited for Slash, I was lucky I got to meet Slash and other members, then I went back inside and Crue was about to start playing Home sweet home, btw thats the only song I like by them, so I guess they would have played for around 2 or 2 and a half hours, not more than that

I think most of what you've said shows how Motley and Slash are a better brand and more active/fan friendly. Talking about performance alone, I've seen the current GnR and Motley. Guns blows them away...even laps them performance wise. Spectacle? That would go to Crue for all the fireworks and strippers.

If you saw my previous post, I did mention that performance wise Axl's band is amazing, but at the back of my head it was hard to digest that it is "Guns N' Roses", Im not saying they are bad, I like songs from CD, it has some amazing songs, but even when they played songs from CD, Buckethead was coming in my mind that I wish he was there to play them.

Okay, if you closed your eyes for the whole show of Motley Crew and Guns, you'd pick Guns wouldn't you?

  6. If you were in a band and your "fans" mostly talked about you being fat and criticized every performance to a fault would you guys be motivated to play and release new material?

Makes you wonder if they are all 'fans' , they're are a hell of a lot who won't say a good thing about Axl or GnR whatever happens

People love to criticize and bash everything nowadays. Remember in the late 80's/early 90's, ironically when Guns was ruling, how people were different for the better?

It definitely sucks there isn't more music out. But, it doesn't make for good reason to make fun of a singer you love to hear. And all the shit about the different line ups, pfft. Glad I can appreciate it all and not be a putz bout it.
