I think a kick ass single being released sometime in september would be great for both the tour and the album, assuming it is finally released in November the latest. That would get alot of people into the band again and buying tickets for the live shows, as long as the single is a hit. I really can't imagine GNR going on a North American Tour again without any new single or album. It just does not make sense. Therefore, perhaps Axl's appearance at this years VMA's may actually hold some enticing news for us all. If not, I'd be damned if there is not atleast a new single out within the next month or two.

I'm still heavily anticipating the release. Just holding it in my hand will be great. I must say, however, that after hearing some of the leaks, I am not as hyped as i previously was. Though I truly think that Better, Maddy, IRS, TWAT, The Bluesand Catcher are very, very good songs, there is something lacking. I dont know, perhapts its just because they are not completed studio versions. We shall see, though I cant wait.

Buckcherry would be a perfect opening act for GNR!!!!

I think Baz touring with GNR would futher solidify GNR as an 80's throwback as oppossed to a relevant band today.

If Axl didn't play any of the old songs, I'd be severly dissapointed. I wanna hear atleast 10 classics. Hell, 3-5 new songs is plenty for me, considering that there are only going to be 13 on the new album.

I would shit myself if they opened with Civil War. I really hope they adjust the setlist to add a few more Illusion sounds, such as Don't Cry, Civil War and Estranged and I hope they eliminate Out to Get Me and Think About you, as well as add a few more new songs.

Ask him about the leaks in general. Who was behind Them? And how representative are they of the finished products? Also, ask him if he considers the leaks the 'Big Guns.'

This review is pretty much dead on! Most people that hear these songs are going to, for the most part, not be very into them. I'm a huge, obsessed GNR fan, though I must say that so far I am quite let down and dissapointed.
