Devastating. We have a tsunami warning on the east coast of Australia from the earthquakes shock, that's 12000km between countries!. It's predicted that there won't be enormous waves but definitely not fishing weather. Hopefully the destruction isn't even the slightest fraction of the Haiti disaster.

Amazing. They deserve it.
HEY, FINALLY A REAL WORLD TOUR:
ASIA
NORTH AMERICA
SOUTH AMERICA
CENTRAL AMERICA
EUROPE
Just wait for Coke Festival in Africa and dates for Australia and New Zealand. The band is on fire
Hahaha... Guns won't be touring the US before europe and that is for sure.

holy shit i have got to see eminem, he's banned in australia hahah. Are there still tickets?

I am so keen to jump on a plane and fly down to melbs from brizzy for 2 of the shows.... but I am extreme budgeting . 6months ago i would have jumped at the chance.. they better be back in europe this year.

Saw them at soundwave. These guys definitely made my day. I got to the front for Jane's Addiction the opted to stay at the fron for FNM instead of seeing escape the fat, I am so glad I waited. They kicked off the set with reunited and were wearing the old skool 70's prom tuxedos in tacky colours. They covered Poka face from lady gaga which was funny. Patton rocks out hardcore, a lot of interaction with the crowd and at one stage he took over one of the cameraman's job and started filming the show himself. He then began rubbing his junk all over the camera which was hilarious. The dude still has his voice and the band sound really tight. 10/10 for me. I just wished they were doing sideshows in brisbane. Fingers crossed the return to the europe festival scene again this year.

anyone played Mass Effect 2? Loved the first one but i'm strapped for cash atm.

Have just begun watching "Spartacus: Blood and sand". So far it's really good. It has a very 300esque vibe to it, lots of action and blood plus xena is in it (but has aged a bit). Definitely check it out, you'll know if you are going to like it after the first episode.

As much as I love him, I really feel like a change in opener's.
For Europe and USA I Agree, but here in South America we haven't seen him yet. It's perfect
I can agree with you there. You'll love him, he's great on stage.

I'm sure someone has stated it already but it's a lot more casual and relaxed doing these small gigs. As far as I know the band loves to play, ie the two and a half hour to three hour sets. I don't think they care if they are playing in front of 50 people or 50,000. They play for the music.

PJ AND GNR EUROPEAN SUMMER TOUR.... I'm having a stroke! Don't get into Europe till the 18th so I'm going to have to miss this festival .
-
Definitely a very special night that you got to be a part of. I would have gone to extreme lengths to be there. Btw what did you have to do with the Dr. Pepper thing?

- Thanks the band for buying him 10 acres on the moon (no clue what that means)
Hahaha. I assume they are actually serious. I remember back around 2004ish they were selling off land on the moon(can't remember the size of land) for around $3000 AUD. Worst investment ever, lol.
From DJ`s Facebook page:
Dj ASHBA™ We had a blast celebrating Axl's B-day And Threw Him A Party At The Toothy Moose (A Cool Ass Bar That Bubbles Owns) We (The Band) Bought Axl 10 Acres Of Land On The Moon. . . .No Joke! Ha! In Hopes To One Day Be The First Band To Throw A Concert There. . .And Yes, Your All Invited! HaHa!!!!
HA, such a cool, worthless gift. Mainly cool though.

A europe summer tour this year would be the best fucking summer ever. A pearl Jam and a GNR tour at the same time while i'm in europe! Then back to Australia where guns will hopefully follow the tour.

Happy Birthday Axl! Hope you get some good presents.

How do you get a job like that
first you have to have a vagina.

1. Finish Touring
2. Take a Break
3. Finish off CD2
4. Release
My guess would be mid to end of 2011.

I have a love/hate relationship with both bands. U2 have probably accomplished more and I'd say they're the "better" band - but I'd still rather to listen to Pearl Jam.
Pearl Jam just want to play music and don't care about awards and the rest that goes with it. Something you can't say about U2
Are you retarded?
Serious question.
no, i just don't like you

They're pretty good. Saw these guys a few weeks back at a festival and they were definitely one of the best performances of the day.
-
Would that be after all expenses?
-
lol, pearl jam are awful imo
hate eddie vedder's voice, it just reminds me of creed and nickelback. there's nothing sexy or intriguing about the music or the lyrics at all. incredibly bland, they're even worse than the goddamn chili peppers. they seem to have a very healthy relationship with their fanbase, though, and that's something to applaud.
but i digress, u2 all the way. "discothèque" > anything by pj
I'm not going to argue over eddie's voice or who the band sounds like but what is so bad about the lyrics? I think that eddie is one of the most creative writers to this day. Then again if you write them off and don't LISTEN to them I can see how you could make the judgment.
HOTTEST SONG IN EXISTANCE Right Now!!!
