the setlist looks great if it's legit. But I do recall BBF(i think it was him) in an interview saying that the band had to convince Axl to put This I Love on CD as it was too emotional for him, so I would be super surprised/happy if it was on the set.

I'm pumped as I will be in Europe at this time and I still haven't gotten over my withdrawal symptoms from when I saw them two weeks back .
So I'm hitting up Dublin and Hard Rock Calling.
Btw i am buying exclusive PJ member tickets for the two gigs I'm going to. Basically you get let into the venue 15mins early to get a good spot.
The catch is you can only buy two tickets. No singles. I am going to these gigs by myself so if anyone wants the second ticket let me know.

hmmm how much are tix?

My first PJ concert and it was incredible, that setlist was orgasmic. I was worried that eddie's voice would have still been f!ked (he has the flu three days ago and during the sydney concert which he almost got through but had to stop after 28 songs during crazy mary (lol only PJ), but he said next time around he will knock $20 off ticket prices for sydney), but I was wrong.. The band killed it on stage. Highlights for me were when eddie came out for under pressure during ben harpers set, even flow and RVM. Oh and I guess I should show these two items
They also played Modern girl, another brick in the wall, schools out (in honour of the schoolies)..... If you want blood (You've got it) (AC/DC) which was followed by blood haha.
are you a 10c member spoon?
so the gig was great for you. and you scored a setlist.. magic. i'm not surprised eddi got the flu, australia's weather has been all over the place, especially down here in melb. i noticed you highlighted a pretty impressive set of covers. that's what makes pj a standout band for me; they have heroes just like we do. and they make you feel like they're just one of the guys.
edit.. - i just noticed the pick (care to part with that??)
would go see them anytime they toured my town too. well worth it, they got an excellent review in our media as well, of course. So, it really seems like Pearl Jam is coming back to Europe next summer! FUCK YEAH! This is easily the best news this year, since the touring announcement for this summer! HAHA!!! Wooooooooohoooooooooo!!!! Bring it on, guys!
"I just wanna scream, HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
haha no way... too much sentimental value for me. They were incredible, so much interaction with the crowd, eddie lit up two cigarettes and each time threw the zippo out into the audience, wish i got one as i need a new zippo. Anyway i am just getting over the withdrawl symptoms of the concert. Will be pumped if they do end up touring europe next year like spoon said.

cheers, i will have to keep an eye out for line up announcements.
-
So looks like i'm heading over to europe next year which means festivalin , which festivals (around june/july/august) are the best ones to go to and when do lines up usually get announced?
-
I'Ve heard some reports, that they're going to take the upcoming year off because of their families, but I still remember that Mike seemed to have some serious info on touring in 2010, nameing Italy for example, touring Backspacer, and PJ isn't that type of band that's telling bullshit.
I just hope they come back next year, that would be the best thing ever.
That would be great if they did and it fitted in with my trip to europe. how did you get to meet mike and stone?
-
Sounds like an insane gig. You always get your monies worth out of PJ. It's so cool that they never stick to one setlist and they can probably play 3/4 songs from their catalog at any given time, which is huge. Seeing them in Brisbane on Wednesday. It is going to kick ass. Btw why are they back in australia next year?
this is from a review on the PJ gig in perth on saty night: Vedder touched on the recent Britney Spears lip-synching debacle, which
sparked calls for artists to declare if they would be lip- synching
during concerts.
"I have a public service announcement to make -
there will be some lip-synching tonight," Vedder joked. "Not... so I can
dance or change outfits, it's so I can drink and smoke. I just thought
I should declare that because of the new rules."
Then later on...
"I'm lip-synching," Vedder joked as the crowd carried Better Man

haha, lag is your worst enemy. Serious! I had no idea what to do in the museum so just naded all the scenes. I shall look for the button next time.

So the "Hidden" mission on special ops mode is heaps fun. Haven't finished it yet . I seem to get caught up in the house about 100m away from the second checkpoint and getting done by one of the snipers , this map is brutal on veteran while trying to get perfect kills. Anyone done it yet? (This is mw2 btw)

Cats In The Cradle - Ugly Kid Joe, Cat Stephens (originally Harry Chaplin) all are great versions.
Except Cat Stevens never had a version of it.
I have been mislead
-
Crazy Mary - Pearl Jam (originally Victoria Williams)
Masters of War - Pearl Jam (originally Bob Dylan)
Last Kiss - Pearl Jam (originally J. Frank Wilson)
Cats In The Cradle - Ugly Kid Joe, Cat Stephens (originally Harry Chaplin) all are great versions.

Vocals: Eddie Vedder
Lead Guitar: Eric Clapton
Rhythm Guitar: Izzy Stradlin
Bass Guitar: Flea
Drums: Joey Jordison
Keyboard/Synthesizers/Production: Trent Reznor
Not sure how well they would gel as a group considering their individual genres, Joey in particular as I haven't heard him out of slipknot. All of them are known for their song writing ability so I'm sure they could come up with something special.

Vogstar started it! >:[
U2 started it with their shitness. However, since I am yet to hear a U2 album in its entirety I am going to listen to The joshua tree next week when i am uncapped and see if i can last the album with out shooting myself.
-
U2 sucks black sabbath, so they don't count
lol o rly?
You're right... I guess they do suck. That's why they sold out for all of their shows on the recent first two legs of they 360 Tour, sets 2 records a night for 15+ shows, have a #1 album every time they put one out, and continue to be the biggest band in the world.
Man, fuck U2.
just mean there's a lot of douche bags out there.
-
Trent Reznor, Eddie Vedder, Corey Taylor, Freddie Mercury....
U2 sucks black sabbath, so they don't count
-
well he's not as good as he was back in the 90s, he's the dude that sung mark wahlberg's vocals in rockstar ay?
-
tally it up?

PEARL JAM EUROPE TOUR
in MY WORLD
Posted
So i was a bit trigger happy this morning when the PJ website released tix, wasn't sure if i got tix to the gigs i wanted. So I ended up getting Berlin, London and not still not sure if i got Dublin and Belfast.
Anyone want my other Berlin ticket???? Gives you 15 mins early entry to get a good spot before anyone else and it is the front standing area.
