  1. Well if SNL is good enough for Pearl Jam, Metallica, U2 multiple times, GNR needs to use it too. They should have been on back in 91! Anyone remember Kiddie Rock? That was a great skit Keifer Sutherland did when he hosted, he was Slash and Sandler did his Axl Rose...

lol, sandler does an awsome kohd

  2. Best frontman yes - right up there with Steven Tyler/DL Roth/Springsteen/Jim Morrison for stage presence, charisma etc rock3

Best singer no - that would be Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, Layne Staley, Chris Cornell. Axl's not in that league imo. rock3

umm, axl is better than cornell and stanley, id say 3 way tie between plant mercury and axl

  3. They are truly awful and have no sense of melody or rhythm. They are desperate wannabe rockstars, sad pathetic losers that take every opportunity they get to namedrop.

Hate to break to ya buddy, they are rock stars. they are the biggest band out, Beast and The Harlot and Bat Country have both hit Number 1on the radio and so has city of evil. Like or not their the biggest band out. I really like A7X, its about time theres something good on MTV. And if you want to see the gnr influence downbload the song "Seize the Day". What really caught me was the pace change in the solo, which is almost exactly like civil war's.

Oh please - biggest band my fucking hole. Plenty of tossers have hit number 1. It doesn't mean shit being number 1 these days. There is nothing good on MTV. MTV is the problem.

point is, they're big for a reason. they were no.1 for weeks on end for a reason. they're fucking great :shades:

funny how uptight and angry people get about this band

people just dont understand that there is one good band out today. A7X is the best thing to happen to rock since, well, gnr. They honestly are pretty much the new guns n roses, there is no doubt they are the biggest band out today, at least in america.

According to an article in today's (April 15) edition of Louisiana's The Daily Advertiser, GUNS N' ROSES are scheduled to play at the 307 Jazz & Blues Club in Lafayette, Louisiana on May 26. Tickets for the concert are $35 and reportedly go on sale May 6, but will be sold in advance at the HONEYTRIBE show on Monday, April 17.

According to Chad Fouquier, 307 entertainment coordinator, the club booked the special performance with Axl Rose on Friday.

True GUNS N' ROSES fans out there, at this point, are probably coming down off the extreme buzz of a potential Axl Rose no-show as memories of Rose's fiascoes in Canada and other notorious mishaps come flooding back. Rose is guaranteed to perform this time, Fouquier said, according to The Daily Advertiser. The contract is strict and will be enforced.

"The way the contract is worded, it protects the show from any bad incidents," he said. "If Axl doesn't show, if he drinks, if he doesn't play for any reason, he owes us what we paid to get him here, what we paid to put on the show, plus interest."

Fouquier said Rose requested the Lafayette performance because he wants to perform in front of a small crowd (the bar holds about 250 to 300), hang out, take pictures and sign autographs.

As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES will be performing a pair of concerts at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom before they head to Europe for a string of festival appearances, according to a press release from concert promoter Live Nation.

Tickets for both shows — set for May 15 and 17 — will set fans back $63, and go on sale April 21 at 10 a.m. Doors open for both nights at 7:30 p.m. There's no word yet on who might be opening for GUNS N' ROSES, or whether there will be an opener at all.

  7. warchild, your a dumbfuck

tommy stinson is a good bassist and so is duff. but duff is a helluva lot more worthy to be in gnr than stinson, not cuz he was an original member, mainly cuz he is a real rock n roller. Stinson was in a garage band that got lucky, i honestly never heard opf the replacements untill i herd he was in gnr. If you walk up to a kid and ask "who is kooler, duff mckagan or tommy stinson?" they will say "who the fuck is tommy stinson?" i think they are pretty equal as for talent (on just bass, tommy's writing is so-so but duff is pretty good), but duff is more of an icon than stinson will ever be

    No, actually I am a Smartass....ask anybody!!

and kid...you are OUT of your league............

    are YOU a Musician?......I am....professionally!

    also REPORTED.........

now, go the fuck away...warchild bites!

actually i am a musician, my band is winner of battle of the bands 2 years straight, we got a few songs copyrighted, and a few songs recorded, i am classically trained but i prefer rock music. I canm play drums, guitar, bass, and saxophone. I could be my own damn band if i wanted
