  1. She's a fucking cunt that Ebony thing

She's a fucking cunt that Ebony thing

She's a fucking cunt that Ebony thing

She's the cunt of all cunts, period. You don't just write "Fuck Slash". And she must be extremly stupid if she actually believes that DJ destroys Slash's work. She can't be old, that's for sure.

  2. From his facebook:

Dj ASHBA™ Kickin it in Vegas with my close friend JC, R.j. and Chuck, 3rd row at the UFC fight, it was f^%in intense!!! Great to see some of my la friends!!! Steve Austin, Holly Madison, even Gene Simmons. Thx again R.j.!!! You f^%#in rule!! Night everyone! Happy 4th!!!

Name drop much? What a douche.

    lol

    yeah, what a fucking douche

how dare he mention all of his hollywood friends

as far as i'm concerned, they're all douches too

especially this guy on the right

    73679690.jpg

Must be wierd for DJ to face the guy who has written the riffs that he now plays for a living. I really hope he apologized to Slash for not playing them as good as they should be.

Fuck slash, DJ destroys his work

No, fuck YOU and your entire family :fuckyou:

Nobody says "Fuck Slash" on a GUNS N' ROSES forum!!!! What the fuck is wrong with you????? :fuckyou::fuckyou::fuckyou:

  3. Show him the Paris '92 concert, it will change his mind for sure, trust me. And if that for some unexplainable reason doesn't help, I strongly suggest that you film yourself blowing his best friend in his car while "Double Talking Jive" is playing in the background.

  4. He doesn't suck, that's just bullshit to say. But you can never top Axl's voice, so if you compare the two together, of course he will "suck". Kinda like Frank sucks compared to Steven, Tommy sucks compared to Duff etc.

  5. Hail to the King Of Beers

    – A Tribute to Duff McKagan

(the only real bassist GNR will ever have)

Tommy Stinson is a great bassist, regardless of what you think of Duff.

I know he's good too, I just loved Duff's bass sound. It was fucking bad ass!!!

  6. Until Robin Finck shows up on stage, its always going to be classed as a cover song.

As with GNR/Slash songs, this will always be a GNR/Robin song all because of the guitar work.

you could say that about every song on chinese democracy, whats your point?

His point is probably that Fake GNR is just one big coverband. In a year, I'll bet the lineup will be differet too.

  7. Is The General the "big gun" that is going to change the world of music forever and make everybody say "It's obious that Axl doesn't need Slash anymore"?

  8. Hendrix great, yeah no doubt, but he is not even in the same league as the Big B...

You're right, they're not in the same league. He's in a league way over your little Bucketboy, and if you believe otherwise you are truly stupid. If Hendrix was never born, GNR as we know it wouldn't exist. Rock music as we know it wouldn't exist. If Buckedhead was never born, it wouldn't have meant shit to the rock world.

How many guitarist have you heard say "Buckedhead was my biggest influence" compared to "Jimi Hendrix was my biggest influence"? I rest my case.

if you really believe that then you are a lost cause.

    have some respect.

btw, what a terrible argument. if hendrix wasnt born? ok lets get into a whole pile of what ifs. what if chuck berry wasnt born? elvis? little richard? margaret thatcher?

    what if?

what if hendrix wasn't born and someone better came along?

what ifs are useless, like your post. no one says you have to agree, but to come out and say if you disagree you are stupid, well, you just established yourself as the real idiot here. although thats nothing new.

im not getting into the whole hendrix-bucket, ron-bucket thing because they are all so talented its all personal preference at that point.. wtf ever.

btw who is more famous / relevant doesn't = better.

All right, just forget the "what if" shit. My point was just that Hendrix as a musician is in a league way, way, way over Buckethead. He was never the fastest or the smoothest player, but he invented his own style, witch has been copied over and over for 40+ years. Nobody with a little sense in their head can argue on that.

I'm not trying to start a Hendrix vs Buckethead thread, i just corrected Gunns5 when he wrote "Hendrix great, yeah no doubt, but he is not even in the same league as the Big B...", witch is complete bullshit.

  9. Hendrix great, yeah no doubt, but he is not even in the same league as the Big B...

  10. It was like having Hendrix in a band with Axl.

    The difference is

Hendrix was years ahead of his time, Buckethead Is Lightyears ahead of his time.

the solos might change on some songs on Cd2 , but let it be known, the core of most , if not all the songs on Cd2 will be all Buckets

NEVER put Hendrix and Buckethead in the same sentence again, little kid. You're only making a fool of yourself.

  11. Madison was sending posts to BBA to post under his account.Things she couldn't outright say as an admin of a band that she supposed to be a fan of.

    **shrugs**

BBA was in her back pocket all along...and yet she has the nerve to refer to Eric is deceitiful, dishonest and unethical.

    heh

And seeing as this thread is off topic and really has run it's course..

Hey mygnr-ers. On friday, zint61 made the above accusation. Prior to being able to respond, he pulled my posting priviledges and locked the thread. I would have started a new thread, but I'm confident that it would be deleted in minutes.

First and foremost, I can tell you that this accusation couldn't be further from the truth, despite what his "sources" may have claimed. I tried telling him as much via PM, but I don't think he's alll that interested in what the truth is, just what sounds the best to further his agenda. At no point in the past have I ever been asked by madison to make posts on her behalf. Not ever. Even if she would ask me, I wouldn't do it. Just not my thing.

Obviously, the fallout between madison and the rest of this board management was ugly. Most of us got to witness this ugliness first hand. At no point in the past have I ever given my opinion on her departure (mostly because I simply don't care.) However, there are a few key items that I would like to respond to publically, since there seems to be some misconceptions:

    1) Do I believe madison was ousted as part of some evil, diabolical plot that was conspired by Eric and Axl?

Answer: No I don't. Personally, I kind of see it the way Eric said: both her and his views clearly divulged at some point. It was obvious to most that there was trouble in paradise - and there were public posts made on this forum that backed this theory up. Obviously, madison's moderating style was different than that of the other mods, and more often than not, there were conflicting viewpoints. Most of us saw that it was only a matter of time before some kind of shit went down. With that said, I'm reasonably confident that Axl and Beta wanted her gone (and very well may have mentioned this to Eric). Whether or not it was "ordered", and in return someone would receive "party passes", only Eric/ Axl/ Beta know that answer.

    2) Is it true that you and madison are really good friends and even talk to each other on the phone?

Answer: I have spoken to madison once on the phone. All other correspondence has been through email, and believe it or not, those emails are few and far between. The only conversation I ever had with her on the phone was on the day those 9 tracks leaked in 2008. At the time, I was posting under the alias of 'Incognito'. She called asking if I was the one responsible for those leaks. That was the only time I ever spoke with her on a phone.

    3) How do you explain being able to get away with saying certain things that others get banned for?

Answer: I'm not denying that madison may have showed me preferential treatment over other members from time to time, but I assure you it had nothing to do with anything going on behind the scenes. Personally, (and this is just my personal opinion) I believe she allowed me to stay because deep down she knows that what I say is true. In a sense, I could say the things that she was unable to because of her position. I've never asked her "why do you tolerate more from me than you do from others?'. If you're looking for that answer, you would have to ask her personally. And even with that said, it isn't like she wasn't constantly chewing my ass, suspending me, and banning me alot of the time.

That's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. If it doesn't fit into your conspiracy theory, I'm sure you'll disregard; citing some make believe sources that most likely consist of clueless losers who are bored. I think that this whole situation was uglier than it should have been. If he didn't, Eric should have given her the opportunity to resign and not made it a public matter. It very well could have prevented this whole "he said, she said" nonsense. Live and learn.

Feel free to copy and paste this elsewhere, cos this post may not last too long.

I have an interview surfacing this month on ChineseDemocracy blogspot. Stay tuned.

Madison give it a rest already...

    +1

I got so tired of that "Miss know it all" bitch at the end.

  12. And thats 13 year old analogy is innacurate...sorry buit maybe I'm alone on this, but when I was 13, I didn't call people I didn't like a cunt. Axl had a lot of built up aggression over the years that he never spoke out on publicly and it spilled out thas all

A lot of 13 year olds use that word these days, a lot more that 47 year olds, at least.

Whatever happend to that "cunt" he was dissing anyways? Did she get banned?

  13. I just don't understand witch "all areas" you are talking about. OK, so he can play faster and is more technical skilled, but Slash plays more from the heart. But who cares really? Do I? I'm not really sure right now, this weed really got me by the balls :rofl-lol:

i can 100% appreciate that. we have found some common ground. its a start.

is it an objective truth that slash has more heart in his playing than bucket? not at all. the majority will pick slash, i understand, but thats personal preference, there are those who would pick bucket, you might not believe it but its true. you would be surprised. i know one of the major slash cupcakes here has admitted to me in private that they think bucket > slash. you dont have to believe me, im not mentioning names, but its true. the 'bucket has no soul' thing is entirely a myth. he has some of the most heartfelt songs / solos ive ever heard. not just one or two, but entire albums. he typically releases 4-5 albums a year .you cant put out that much material just making "nintendo noises"

its not just preferring bucket. i think slash is overrated. die hard slash fans just cant accept that some people flat out dont like slash, period. in your mind he is so awesome, he is impossible not to like. well, there are a ton of people out there who think original gnr are lame. im a fan myself, i love original guns, velvet revolver was great, for the most part. but when it comes down to it, ill take bucket any day of the week. no hesitation.

its just a personal preference. i understand where you are coming from, your opinion and reasoning is valid. but its not objective truth.

its like one person saying south park is their favorite cartoon of all time, and another saying they are wrong and the simpsons is the best of all time. you are in no position to tell someone whats best, or what they should prefer. i realize we all come off that way from time to time, my own comment of "bucket blows slash out of the water" is guilty of this. we have to remember everything on here is IMO, so i somewhat take that back, im not saying bucket is better than slash, im saying i think bucket is better than slash. just to clear that up.

    each to their own.

Agreed! Witch do you consider to be Bucketheads 5 best songs? Maybe I have just heard the wrong songs.

I remember izzy stating a few years back that axl had called him wanting his permission to use a song entitled "down by the ocean." anyone on this board who fails to recognize izzys importance as it pertains to guns is a moron! it was axl after all who followed izzy out to LA to make a go of their mutual dream of succeeding in the music industry. granted axl abilities and charisma helped take guns to another level, it was izzys songwriting prowess and ability to have axl's respect that made them a great songwriting duo. if axl shall ever be open to having izzy help write a new album we should b grateful. izzy is the one person who will tell axl how it is and has axls respect. its a shame the two of them haven't taken their childhood dreams even further. if axl were willing to work with izzy on future endeavors, we could only b so lucky! P.S. the person who posted paul huge is a proven songwriter and shall suffice as it pertains to the writing of a new guns album, should have their fan card revoked! izzy is a proven commodity! nothing against paul but the track record isnt there.

How many years have they known each other?

  14. bucket blew slash out of the water in a number of areas. ok, all areas.

Sorry mate, but this has to be one of the most stupid statements I've read on this forum in a long time. How did Buckethead blow Slash out of the water in 'all areas' GNR related?? hahaha!

Buckethead is a mean guitar player. And he served his purpose in GNR for a few years. But that's where it ends..... Just because someone can drive a car fast as fuck, doesn't mean they know how to design an engine. If truth be told, Buckethead will probably be an insignificant bit-part in the history of music, admired by a select few, unknown by the majority. 'Less technical' players such as Slash, Hendrix, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour and Keith Richards will be remembered by most forever.

    LA

i didnt say 'all areas gnr related'. i said he blows him out of the water. thats just an opinion. bucket > slash, in general. sorry if you disagree. :shrugs:

so since he isnt wildly popular i cant like him? well shit. who is popular right now? people seem to like justin beiber, i guess he is musically superior to all.

OMG, just heard "seige engine", and it's AMAZING!! So much better than ALL of Slash's solos put together. This song will change music forever, why hasn't it yet? :rofl-lol: :rofl-lol:

remember that part where i said you didnt have to agree? thats key here. if you dont like seige engine, great, i dont give a fuck.

Actually I don't, but you probably did. Sometimes I just answer without really reading the post that well.

I just don't understand witch "all areas" you are talking about. OK, so he can play faster and is more technical skilled, but Slash plays more from the heart. But who cares really? Do I? I'm not really sure right now, this weed really got me by the balls :rofl-lol:
