i rememeber like it was yesterday when i first heard them. I was like 3 or 4 years old (so either 93 or 94) and i was at my cuz's house and we were watching terminator2 and i heard You Could Be Mine and i was like in love with that song. When i got a copy of T2, when i was done watching the movie, id fast forward through the credits a little just so i could hear that song. Then the dark ages hit me, i got into hanson when i was 6 and backstreet boys by about 7 or 8. Then my friend got me into rap (real slim shady on b96) and i became a wigger. Well thank god i grew out of rap and i was kind of lost. I started listening to rock and i was watching the VMAs and guns n roses came on (the year is 02 by now) and they came on. I heard the name but really never knew i heard them before and i liked the sound of them but hated axls voice. I then fast fowarded to the end of the credits and found out it was indeed Guns n Roses. So i did a search and downloaded every song by guns i could. Thanks p2p cause then my computer crashed. Later that summer tho, i was visiting my aunt in minnosata and she asked if i wanted a cd so i said yea and picked up Guns N Roses AFD and LOVED IT. I listened to that cd at least a thousand times (ok maybe not that many times) but i listened to it alot. That school year i walked home a couple times and picked up UYI 1 then 2. Listened to them nonstop. Somewhere in there i picked up Lies and even loved that cd. Then picked up TSI, didnt like that one to much. Still to this day though AFD is the only cd i can listen to from beginning to end without skipping a song.

well if axl wants gnr to be anything like the gnr from the 80s n early 90s, then he better wait to tour the US and release the cd. really alot of the older fans dont care about guns n roses anymore, hell in their eyes when slash left, that was the end of GnR. and now theres a small percentage of fans who are in their teens or early 20s who have now started listening to them. they may have read the break up or at least heard it so they're just listening to the old cds. now if he comes out the new fans will start looking in to guns a little bit more. thats just my thoery tho.

dude its all good it was me who started it and i was trying to find any version of the songs and live is fine. the ones that are spread on p2p do sound like GnR very very very little. though thanks for your input

I really dont mind them (being a guitarist i wouldnt) plus it gives us the chance to see what they can do. I was really impressed with Richards, and Rons, i love his guitar, thats probably why i love his solo, i got to see my favourite guitar

I heard Slash had joined, but couldn't play 'Beautiful' properly so was kicked out.

He also couldn't play Nightrain the way it is supposed to be played either.

i think that was just another remour because slash created (or at least was the one who played it on AFD) Nighttrain and slash came out with a quote about everything with Matt on a radio station (its on the VR section) and he said he hasnt had ANY contact with axl in like more then 6 years.

i think you have to play guitar to really love guitar solos. though you dont need to play to like them, i think though guitar players look at them and say damn because they've either tried or have tried solos similar and know that some of the sounds the guitar makes is very fuckin hard. i love solos. slash, buckethead, bumble, anyone as long as its good and not sum cheap 10 second solo. so no they dont have 2 many solos.

id b pist to wait 2 hours. first 10 is kinda late for a concert then have him 2 hours late. i dont no about u but im pretty tired even at a concert at midnite. axl really should get better at gettin there. i mean he doesnt have much room to b late. if CD was release and they've beeen on tour for a couple of months that would b different, but come on axl do u still want to have a fan base?

well maybe if they release CD and get back on MTV and Fuse people might then relize gnr still does exist
