When it comes to setlists I always say the same thing:
reviewing setlists on the internet like you're reviewing a tv series or something is stupid. If I attended a show I'd be stoked to hear every song on the list. It's fine. It's not a big deal. Live your life. -
They have CERTAINLY slowed down the tempo. Wow. It was quite obvious that they were playing songs faster on the US tour because my video of Coma was only like 8/9 minutes compared to the full length. Much better to hear it live, the correct tempo

What did you think of the full show?
I haven't seen the full show, just a few songs. Pretty good stuff but like I said, audio quality is ROUGH.

One of my buddies out in San Diego recorded the Troubadour show from the floor. He's got most of the show but its shaky and the audio sucks. I asked for a copy and he absolutely refuses. He'll never upload or share. I've seen it at least, good enough for me.

With biased I obviously want the Foxboro show to be put out, BUT I think a compilation set would be cool. Because some show had better performances than others. I think Foxboro's Estranged and Catcher in the Rye are above all of the others.

He sounded fucking awesome in Foxboro in July. I think in a live setting with the acoustics and the mixing he sounds better than on a periscope where it's obvious what sort of vocal 'tricks' (for lack of a better term) he's doing.

Every night I come into these posts and, sure I hope to see Perfect Crime or something new on the setlist, but let's be real. For the people in attendance it may have been the greatest night of their life whether The Seeker was played or Perfect Crime was played. Guns put on a kick ass fucking show, and unless you're at every single show actually seeing the set list night after night you really can't complain.

They sound checked Catcher during the show I went to, and played it the next night. Maybe we'll get Perfect Crime next show. But either way, I'm happy for all of those in Peru who were able to enjoy the how! Guns live is one of the greatest things on earth.

time to dance with MR BROWNSTONE

That's dope. I've probably read it all but I want it.

Have we seen what they look like yet? Been checking around and I haven't seen even digital shots yet, let alone prototypes. Typically they show prototypes and stuff a lot earlier.

After these interviews I'm glad people are seeing that Team Brazil is looking out for Axl's best interests. A bunch of dudes on this forum were bashing them whenever they'd come on here and post (which is likely a big reason Fernando does't anymore).
Also Axl didn't shut down the notion of new music so thats something. -
KeifferGNR used one of my clips for the Foxboro show and I was thrilled to see it in his compilation! I wish more people were happy to see it. There's full credit in the description, and nothing wrong with it. Fact is if people want to really be dickheads, you're not supposed to upload the footage at all. So anyone whining about, "Waaah thats my footage you used!" should know their role and appreciate the fact that somebody liked it enough to put it with the entire concert compilation!

Ha that's fantastic! Good recovery

Wow the tour book is awesome! I wish they were selling it when I went, but I'll have to order one online then.
-
Were these sold at the shows? I don't remember seeing this when I went. What's inside?
-
I mean Duff already learned them when he came around in 2014, I'm sure Slash was like "hey those Chinese Democracy songs are alright are we going to play them?"
-
You're completely right. I noticed that when I was there. Rather than "singing" he was starting to let the lyrics out in more of a SCREAM. It was fucking great. Especially on Civil War. I usually expect that high voice the entire song but then he REALLY PUSHED IT. It was fucking dope!

I went to the July 19th show and frankly, level 300 seats were okay. I could see. But I would MUCH prefer ANYTHING closer. 300 is a cheap option but I wish I had sprung for 200 or even floor. If they ever come back my way, I'll be getting floor seats.

Music is subjective and everyone's opinion is going to be different. But quite frankly, when i went to see Guns I was really glad to hear Chinese Democracy songs. I thought Slash killed it on the title track, This I Love, and Better. Sorry was sort of a down-time moment but I personally was still glad to hear it. You've all got to realize some people want to hear it and it's not a matter of "Well I don't like it so they should play more of what I like instead"

The posts in this thread are a bummer. We've got Guns N' Fucking Roses firing on all cylinders, performing some kick ass shows, and people are arguing about Chinese Democracy songs, whether members are good in the band, wanting other members back. Shut the fuck up. Go to a show and stop bitching. July 19th was the greatest night in my life, GN'R was fantastic, and coming into this thread expecting reviews, photos, videos and being met with "Well they should probably play more of what I want and less of what you want" is fucking lame.

Really cool that they changed the setlist up for people who attended the 20th. I would've loved to do both, or heard Catcher in the Rye and Don't Cry on the 19th. But we got My Michelle and Patience. This tour is so damn insane. Changing set lists, Slash is back, they're on time...what a bizzaro land! Wish I could have gotten one of the July 20th lithos though, because now my 19th one feels incomplete when I see the two framed side by side.

Speaking of the start time, a lot of people at the venue were bitching that Guns went on too early. Two things about that:
1. The ticket and all details of the event said, "Show goes on at 7 PM!"
2. Guns has been going live on-time, be at the venue early to ensure you're in your spot and ready to go when Axl hits the stage. Gillette was a quarter full when Lenny went on, and people were still filing in. Don't complain if you weren't there at 5:30 when gates opened. -

What time does the show start tonight?
If it's anything like last night, opener should be on at 7 PM EST SHARP, and Guns will be on around 8:30 PM EST

Also doesn't mean we should blindly hate her either.
---
A lot of folks just seem to dislike her because she isn't Izzy or Pitman or because she's a girl or because they don't like her personality. She does Chris Pitman's job better than he did it. She's actually noticeable. Nobody outside of the forums and hardcore fans recognized him as more than just an idle keyboardist. Melissa is full of energy when she's playing and I'm pretty sure she hasn't fucked up yet. Get over yourselves! Just because someone is modern and not what you like in somebody's personality doesn't make them bad, it makes you look incredibly narrow minded. She's fucking dope.
Happy for her, hope she sees continued success!
