Very fond childhood memories of skipping school to go see 2 and 3 in the cinema.

To be honest, I'm not that intrigued by this trailer. I don't want to watch 2 hours of John Wick trying to remember that he's Neo.

I'd want a more ambitious film personally in line with the sequels. This doesn't really feel big, it feels toned down for those who didn't like the sequels imo.

Also it's worrying that they only just released the trailer now, when it's out in a few months. The hype machine feels absent.

If this is only a sequel to the first and ignores Reloaded/Revolutions... I don't really care that much about this one.

Season 1 had a few issues, but it's still Star Trek.

It's kind of weird deleting dms from almost 15 years ago. It makes me almost feel old.

I don't think I'm picking up a console soon. I got rid off my PS4 just before lockdown and had immediate regret, but I can't motivate myself to get a PS5.

Apart from the fact that they're still permanently out off stock in the major electronic retailers here and it costs about £200 extra to buy them on Ebay thanks to scalpers. There's just no games I really want to play on it, none at all.

Final Fantasy XVI is the only PS5 exclusive (well initially) thing that catches my eye and it won't be out for years likely (considering how long XV took). Also XV was kind of disappointing to me and the XVI trailer doesn't look that compelling.

Elder Scrolls VI probably won't be out till the middle of the decade and will probably only be on XBox. Rockstar's next major AAA game (like a Bully, Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption) is years away. 

I was almost tempted to get an XBox for the first time since the 360 instead, but most of the highest rated games on metacritic all seem to be cross platform.

It's a shame I can't play Zelda games anymore (not since the first Wii), but I'm not a fan of Nintendo pumping out consoles every few years like they're Pokemon games.

I'm starting to think that once I hit 30, I was too old for video games.

Binge watched The Expanse this week, all 5 seasons. I liked it and it's better than the usual modern sci-fi fare, but not it's not in the same league as the more recent Battlestar Galactica show.

I'm still really looking forward to season 6.

I liked the opening and it did seem interesting, but it devolves after that swiftly into standard fare.

I'd probably watch a sequel too if one came out, but it wouldn't exactly be on my wish list.

That may or may not be the case with the whole film, but I just love how they’re tying this into the original, and respecting the source material.

Almost all of the original cast (except the guy who played Egon) are in this too, the trailers seem intended to mislead.

There was an interview a while back with Bill Murray complaining about how heavy the packs were during filming.

I have faith this will be alot better than people expect and that they'll do more than quick cameos.

I guess this won't be about people fiquring out that he was a serial killer after all and chasing him?

Who was he? He was the author of Berserk. Berserk was easily the best and most influential Japanese manga, it stood out from the rest in that it was well written/illustrated with characters who had depth. I'm not really into manga, but I loved Berserk.

The story is over 30 years old, but there was more and more time in between chapters. At one point the characters spent 7 years on a literal boat, because there was so much time inbetween. It did look like in the recent chapters though it was in perhaps it's final 3rd. Now we'll never see the ending. 

Essentially this is the manga equivalent of George RR Martin passing away before he finished the Winds of Winter.

So I'd have expected this thread to be lit up atm.

I get the feeling if WWE pulled what AEW did last night, there'd be alot of angry people.

I only caught a few matches near the end of the show, but seen all of the main event.

At first I thought it was funny, but the more I think it's just sad. It's the kind of thing you'd hope wrestling would be past in 2021. Anyway I don't watch aew regularly and can't see myself doing so after that.
