  1. 2 "qurantine raves" last night with about 6k people between them in Manchester.

At least 1 dead of an od and 3 others stabbed. Though at least they all got to "test their eyesight".

  2. Conspiracy theorists claim Mayan calendar was wrong and 'world will end on June 21'

From the coronavirus pandemic to an influx of terrifying murder hornets, 2020 has thrown a number of tricky obstacles in humanity’s way.

But the worst is yet to come, according to conspiracy theorists, who claim that the world will end next week.

The bizarre theory is based on the fact that when the Gregorian calendar was introduced in 1582, 11 days were lost from the year, to better reflect the time it takes Earth to orbit the sun.

While 11 days might not sound a lot, over 286 years it adds up, with some conspiracy theorists claiming we ‘should be in 2012.’

In a now-deleted Twitter post, scientist Paolo Tagaloguin said: “Following the Julian Calendar, we are technically in 2012.

“The number of days lost in a year due to the shift into Gregorian Calendar is 11 days. For 268 years using the Gregorian Calendar (1752-2020) times 11 days = 2,948 days. 2,948 days / 365 days (per year) = 8 years”.

According to this theory, June 21 2020 should actually be December 21, 2012.

If you cast your mind back to 2012, you may remember various theories, indicating the world would end on December 21.

NASA said: “The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. This catastrophe was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012 and linked to the end of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayan calendar at the winter solstice in 2012 - hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21, 2012.”

Unsurprisingly, the world did not in fact end on December 21, 2012, and is very unlikely to on June 21 2020.

NASA explained: “For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, where is the science? Where is the evidence?

1x1.png“There is none, and for all the fictional assertions, whether they are made in books, movies, documentaries or over the Internet, we cannot change that simple fact.

“There is no credible evidence for any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012.”

  3. Is there any evidence this was blocked and not just pulled, because someone suggested the girl system ect. might get him in trouble?

...Or maybe the publishers felt that it's structured more like a lengthy blog than a book despite it's promotion?

Also I doubt the Matt/Stephanie thing happened, just like Matt's account of the Duff meeting (where Duff buries Frank and Izzy) happened. Seems to me designed to cause tension in the band. His ego shines through alot and it's ultra bitter by the end.

Matt's always being done hard, be it... Axl, Slash, Duff, Scott (doesn't even mention Scott passing).

You'd think by the end that Matt wrote the uyi tracks (that he didn't get and thought were too long), was responsible for Snakepit and VR.

  4. He buries everyone by the end (except Izzy, Dizzy and Gilby who are rarely mentioned).

    - Slash constantly screws him over throughout (every few chapters) be it money, getting into arguments or not wanting him to play at the Hall of Fame
    - Makes claims like Duff said, Fuck Izzy and Frank can't play
    - It's bitter by the end tbh and cannot imagine the band wanting to have him guest.
    - Matt being furious when Axl, Duff and Slash went for an extra bow at a gig/Slash telling them they get to do it, because they started the band.

It's pretty tame on Axl compared to Slash and Duff.

I'm skeptical about some of the stories, because by his own admission he's drunk out off his mind through most of vr and gn'r.

Quite frankly if you’re looking for things to be offended about with The Who you can do a lot better than Rog’ being anti-EU, how about Moonie dressing as a Nazi outside Golders Green station shouting ‘RAUS RAUS!’ to the people entering the station?  Numerous other instances can be named.

...Or Pete downloading child pornography for "research".

  6. Veins are ice cold, headache, warm head, stomach discomfort ect. Ugh oh.

Hopefully it's nothing, since that could be anything. However if Atari bites the dust soon, I blame those of you that voted Tory!

    STILL NEED MEH DENTIST BACK

Same. I’ve bought two filling kits from the pharmacy and had two lots of antibiotics prescribed over the phone also lost a shift at work because of the pain - and they still won’t see me because that’s not an emergency 🙄

My dentist advised over the phone to get a kit too, but they're sold out in most places.

So tempted to just go to hospital and get a hospital dentist, but that would be really dumb.

I can see why Dentists wouldn't want too without ppe, but they really should be classed as front line.

  8. Reuters say the covid total is over 40k with ft reporting total extra deaths up 50k plus.

TV stations running with the gov's 32k plus.

People under some bizzare impression that Boris the Lion has done a good job, thanks to the newscorp/tv coverage.

  9. I littetallly just woke after a dream about being driven off the side of a cliff in a bus trip organized by Matt Hancock.

When the realization settles in and people start complaining, Hancock says "we're learning".
