The Forum was down for a few days with a mention that the account was suspended. The host company had put the costs up considerably due to recent traffic.
I've just reactivated using Googld Ad revenue. I'm thru putting up my own money to run a Forum wich benefits the band but leaves an individual with the losses (me).
I'm currently looking into options for a solution.
PS. To anyone who tried to send me an e-mail, my personnal e-mail was down from saturday Apr 21st to 24th, this is totally unrelated to the Forum being down it was a technical problem on the other hosts part. So any e-mails sent to me in that timeframe should be sent again as it was not delivered.

Was made awaye of that bug last night by Gunsguy. I'm looking into it.
Small bugs are to be expected after upgrades and or server switch.

The Forum was offline for a bit more than 24 hours due to a server switch.

Forum members will gradually be able to access the Forum while the new DNS propagates worldwide. This will be completes in a few hours.

At 8:20 Pm tonight a post was made under Axl's account Dexter.
The post contained the words : 'In 2012 there will be new record '.
Beta confirmed that it was not Axl who made this post. This explains why the thread was deleted.
Either his e-mail account or forum account were hacked. His account has been temporarily locked while the issue is investigated and sorted out.

Letting Forum members know that "Performance mode" feature could temporarilly be activated later today.
While in performance mode, certain forum features are disabled (such as search feature and certain images). It's still possible to read and post while in Performance mode.
Forum will return to "Normal mode" when traffic permits it.

The Forum was down for approx 12 hours last night due to a technical problem. Everything is back to normal now.

The proposed solution by Montrealer combined with at least be using IE8 should do the trick. IE7 is an truly outdated browser.

Should the issue have persisted (very rare), you could have also tried to delete your cookies.

As part of recent turnover of some members of the moderating team (resignations, promotions), the admins and global moderators have analyzed all moderating team positions and has decided to make the following changes:

It must be strange be thanked in the Chinese Democracy credits, being invited backstage, and then getting legal threats.
People seem to be treating the letters as being a lot more personal than they really are. They're not exactly intended as a vindictive attack on Eric (Or Jarmo or Sean). Even though Eric got the invites and back stage passes and stuff, that doesn't mean he's allowed to let things run amock. As the forum owner and admin, he's the one responsible. These letters would, and clearly have, been sent to any forum where stuff like this went down...the fact this is one of the biggest ones is why so many people start shit over here....e.g. the MSL stuff. Stuff like that, or even people protending to be Axl or any other member, is potentially damaging and those involved want and deserve their rights to be upheld.
And a lot of legal letters will expressly state (as a law student with work experience behind me, i've seen enough...even if it is the UK, not the US) that the letters are confidential and not to be disclosed. Why would Eric, or anyone else, want to jeapordise themselves so openly and easily?
Well, I did get some time before getting credit and backstage and it didn't prevent getting credit, backstage and meeting Axl. True letter was not specifically aimed at me.
Mabye I took recent letter a bit too personnal as I felt that it could have been resolved by a simple phone call.
Except that they couldn't have called you -- you were in Cuba and no one was able to get in touch with you. Remember?

Major situation reversal.
Countess messages of appreciation from members were really appreciated, and touching. Thanks to those who approached me to find possible solutions (you know who you are, and there are more of you than you think).
None of those solutions will have to happen for now as a Forum member who wishes to remain anonymous has offered to cover the full monthly costs, and I have accepted. Really puts everything into perspective.
Forum will not be closing anytime soon. Sorry for the dramma.
