The white little squares on these
that you get when you've posted in a thread are still gone. Is there any chance we can get these back, I find them really useful!
Agreed. It's really easier to find the topics you're interested in.
And these big grey things still appear in some topics. Not a big problem, but annoying enough.
Those are called topic markers. They were disabled when in "Performance mode" cause they became problematic during the first stress test for mygnrforum IPB v3.05.
They have not been re-enabled after going back to "Normal mode".
Sorry for the invonvenience. I have no lans to re-enable them untill the next update 3.0.6.
Sorry for the inconvenience, Forum stability gets priority over this feature for now.

Yesterday was the first "stress test" for version 3.0 of the Forum software.
Performance mode has been disabled as of last night.
The Forum is back to normal. Enjoy.

Small Forum software glitch.
The old Forum software had glitchez of it's own.
I'll submit it so they can fix it in the next update.

Get rid of the vote posts up or down, it doesn't work anyways and it cuts off peoples posts sometimes, or sigs.
Make links open in new tabs, not redirecting the mygnrforum tab to somewhere else.

I've finally gottn to your request after having dealt with many other bugs/problems.
Posts up or down feature = I fully agree about this one, feature was not useful. This is now fixed : it has been deactivated.
Links = Links opening up in the same window was indeed a pain.This is now fixed. Links now open up in a new browser window.
Quick login box = Looks like the software maker did not include this functionnality in version 3.0. This means you'll have to Click the "Sign in" button.

1) Click the dropdown list at the top left of the Forum (Right next to where it says "Signed in as"
2) Select "My settings"
3) Click "Manage notes" on the lift that appears on the left side of the screen

One account per member
Forum rule #9 change
In the past, we have allowed forum members to register two accounts on the forum. We did this to accomodate people who shared a computer with another family member so that both could post on the forum.
However, we've found that members have been abusing this rule and constantly opening new accounts to post under multiple names at the same time - and sometimes multiple "personalities" and even different sexes to mislead other members.
As a result, we are no longer allowing members to register more than one account.
For those who currently have more than one account, please notify an admin within the next month (untill october 26th) to let us know which name you'd like to keep. The other account will be closed.
1) If we don't hear from a member, additional accounts will be banned.
2) If we find a new member attempting to register an additional account, additional accounts will be rejected, and main account could be banned.
We've also noticed that some Forum members tried to register new accounts because they forgot their password. If you've forgotten your password, you should use the Password recovery feature instead of creating a new account.

Seems that while most emoticons work, I've found that undercertain conditions they can randomly not work, some of the conditions seems to be when you have many emoticons next to one another, although in some cases it worked.
Solution:
Simply use the Emoticon manager at the left hand of the screen to insert emoticons.

A new version of the Forum software (3.0.X) was released late this summer. I've been working for some time on a "test Forum" to learn the new features, configure, and make the Skin.
As of today, the new 3.0.X software still have some minor, so I'm naturally waiting for some of those to be resolved before going live with 3.0.X. The moderating team is also currently testing out it's new features and making sure they will be able to answer questions Forum members might have with the new functionalities. There are some slight differences in using 3.0.X, but it's nothing major. I've put lots of efforts in order to ensure a smooth transition for Forum members.
For those that are interested, here's a preview of what the 3.0.X Forum will look like:

You gave me very limited input about these problems although it was great that you included images to describe the issue.
Here are the solutions to the problems you mentionned in your post :
Problem: Some images don't appear, but you can see text links instead.
Reason: Browser window is smaller than the Forum was made to be viewed.
Solution: Maximise the browser window when viewing the Forum, or make it large enough.
Problem: Image in signature doesn't appear.
Reason: Image is hosted on a crappy server, or has daily display limitations.
Solution: Host your signature image elsewhere.

Is there any way we can get a "log in invisible" tick box next to the quick login thing? I know it's just an extra three clicks to do it the long way, but it'd be awesome to have one available with easy access.
Simply check the "Remember me?" when logging in (This is not recommended for shared computers).
If you're using a shared computer, then you'll have to the the extra 3 clicks to login.
