How do Axl and Slash really feel about each other? Regardless of how they reconciled and what led to it...are they friends again? Or strictly business partners?

Axl sounds so much better when he's just sitting in one spot and not running around for 3 hours on stage. I've been saying for years that he needs to cut down on his stage antics and he'd instantly sound much better. Maybe breaking his foot is the best thing that could've happened for him lol.

I cannot fucking believe they played Coma!!!! I just woke up and am looking at the videos/full setlist now. So rad!!

I'm interested in seeing if there was any interaction whatsoever between Axl and Slash. 

I got my two tickets at $104 each for the Meadowlands show, fuck I can't wait!!!

I always assumed that 2 a.m. EST would be around when they went on stage, given the fact that 11:00 in whatever city they were in was the usual start time on the last tour. So, let's get this shit started

No, I meant tickets for the tour itself going on sale before the surprise gig. I didn't mean have tickets for this show go on sale in advance.

Why are they being so strict with no cameras/phones at this gig? Axl never cared about them with all the other small shows they've done recently.

Another thought - if he's really just announcing that Kimmel isn't happening, why not just do it on the forum right now? Either here or HTGTH. Why do it just for the Nightrain? I expect the "fan exclusive" announcement would surely need to be something positive. All the same, this is Guns N' Roses we're talking about.

I know he always fucks everything up just when you think he couldn't possibly fuck something up any worse. But even this fuck-up would surpass all of Axl's previous fuck-ups.

No way will they perform their first song(s) back together on free TV. They're gonna save that for the big money. This will most likely just be Axl announcing Coachella and the stadium tour over the summer. Announcing the release of a new surprise song/single on iTunes or something would be simply awesome, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm glad he finally shaved that awful mustache. He looks a lot younger. But he definitely put on some weight since the last tour. Better start hitting the gym now to get ready for April.

Right, because I'm sure if a reunion really was happening that Slash would be willing to just come clean and admit that there was to anybody who just happened to ask him.

Obviously, even if a reunion was happening, nobody in the band would admit it until an official announcement was made. All these supposed comments mean absolutely nothing.

Maybe we are so excited about this because, aside from him singing it like a god, it's not the "same old song" over and over?

Maybe we are SICK N' TIRED of AFD and UYI's songs and we want more Chin Dem live until new material is released?

That's absolutely a big part of it. Any time we get a different song we're so excited about it that Axl could theoretically sound like shit and it would still be an upgrade over the standard setlists.

Incredible performance. He hit every note and looked like he was really into it and enjoying himself. I've always said that Axl can still break out the power vocals when he is really feeling it and isn't just going through the motions, and this performance proved it. Just awesome. Sang it perfectly.

Axl can't even remember the correct lyrics to most songs anymore. You expect him to remember what part of Paradise City he's supposed to blow the goddamn whistle?

Axl has always done the lower vocals in the verses live, with Ron (?) doing the higher vocals in the verses. The chorus and the bridge are the only high notes Axl actually sings live himself.

The thing that pisses me off most about Axl is that he's not trying. I mean, seriously. You can still hear that rasp from time to time, so he obviously can still sing even if he's not trying to exert himself every time he sings a high note. If he would get himself in better physically so that he wasn't so winded after every verse, I'm positive it would make him sound better and more natural. But it's very clear he doesn't care enough about it anymore at this point in his life. It's sad, and we'll obviously never know the real reasons why he doesn't commit himself to getting in better shape, but as long as he keeps selling tickets he has no reason to do anything differently, which is what I'm sure Beta and Co. are preaching to him.
