    Planet Rock Review

    Gig-review from Planet Rock.

    Worth a read I think, and a true insight into the casual fans perspective in my opinion.

    “So what are a 21st Century Guns N Roses like? Well, they’re fine. They have a propensity for both genius and the mundane. They play the songs that you love with the proficiency that you would expect from a bunch of well seasoned musicians. And Axl still has the voice. If you close your eyes you will occasionally be fooled that it’s 1988 all over again.”

    “Axl can still redeem himself and his band’s reputation, and has every chance of being brilliant once again. There are glimpses of this throughout the show as he really hits his stride and the band are fantastic. But fans are losing patience with the nonsense that seems to follow Guns N Roses around, and it’s so disappointing that once again something other than the music has spoiled the occasion for so many people.”

    This review was ok. The writer expresses some interesting things. He gives his opinion without attacking the band. And at the end of the article he adds ¨If anyone else went to the gig last night and had a different experience then please let us know below¨. Well, he can accept other views. Good.

    slash isnt an embarrassment he just likes to perform with super coolz artists like fergie and mexican trash, doing volkswagon/guitar hero/lending his name to anything that pays more than 1$ as well as partying with justin beber

    I define R&R on the way they are on stage, not the way the thread the fans...

    Just a quote of an official review of an very respectable newspaper, to make it clear:

    Rose that let his audience waited until 22.15 hours, so the last trains were unattainable, was for one of the fans very "rock & roll found", but there sat the rub: with rock & roll it still has all very little to do. This Guns N 'Roses is especially harmless kitsch.

    GN'R is very well known for being late. Thus, if you have to be early at home, don't go to a GN'R show.

    what can I say..... the night was PERFECT.... SEBASTIAN was AMAZING, really an "animal" on stage bowdown.gif , what a BLAST, he sure knows how to ROCK and how to warm up the crowd..... FANTASTIC SHOW, EPIC, I was totaly blown away, and exausted (dehydrated) at the end of his performance, I even had to beg some water to security and some people in the audience (that I didn't even knew) haha lol. Funny when Tião said a few words in Portuguese haha :)

    GUNS N' ROSES show ---> EPIC/MEMORABLE/AMAZING/GREAT/FANTASTIC/SUPERB/PURE ROCK N' ROLL/PERFECT bowdown.gif..... what a BLAST, totally BLOWN AWAY....what a night, what a SHOW (3h), what a BAND..... the crowd was wild, totally insane, very supportive of the band, everyone wanted to be there, and show them a lot of love n' support, there was a lot of chants (AXL AXL AXL, GN'R GN'R) they LOVED it, BBF, Ashba, Richard and Dizzy all smiles to us in the front, we sang Happy B-Day to tommy, Axl was in a VERY good mood, totally enjoying the show and the crowd, when he said "changing plans" and added WLR, NB, DC and Patience to the setlist is was PERFECT... everyone was screaming and singing so F**** LOUD (my voice is almost gone today), even on CD songs, it was PERFECT.... I wish I could turn back on time to last night over and over again 3sad.gif. Portuguese crowd RULESSSSSS rock3

    Without voice today? you sang/screamed all night, ha! Very passionate fans :D

    They played ¨Nice Boys¨ rock3 I was waiting for this song.

    Rather than bitching that the guitarists arent Slash. How about you put he guitarists on their own merit?

    When they do something outstanding under the GNR banner, I'm sure it will be talked about. Right now some of those guys are touring behind an album they never even played on...

    This is a new trend. Slash is doing the same. For example, he released an album played with different singers, but for the tour he hired another singer for singing the songs.
