Once again - everyone is taking everything way too literally.

Mayhue, first of all, isn’t a band member or a decision maker. When he says “any day now,” some of you for some reason gave it a week’s worth of time and then immediately turned to “Perhaps is canceled! This fucking band, man!”

Relax. It’s coming. Either shortly before the NA tour or right after it starts, like Absurd and Hard Skool. “Any day now” can be 3 weeks from now. Jesus Christ.

I’m not even sure why anyone is clamoring for the song anyway. Perhaps is a piece of shit and it’s just going to take up another slot in a setlist that’s finally starting to get interesting.

I like those chi dem songs! I have no more interest in hearing Mr brownstone live for the 1500th time!

I would love to know what went on between the last show in 2010 and RIR 2011

Axl did complain quite a few times about having a sore throat on the 2010 tour

By the end of 2010 you could hear him struggling with his rasp. I think he went all in and damaged his vocal chords just like he did with acdc

The general attendance doesn't know them and doesn't give a shit about them. The iconic members are Axl and Slash and to a slightly lesser extent Duff. That isn't moronic, that is fact. And it's great that other members don't sully these designs. For once GNR does something right.

Gnr would probably gain from promoting other members too!

Now that you say it, I've never seen a photo of Axl riding a bike..that fucking poser thing might be true after all

I was specifically talking about this show, which was still May 91. I agree he was on a downward slide when Kurt came on the scene, but until about September that year, Axl and Guns were the biggest thing everyone was copying. Can't really be a poser when everyone is trying to rip YOU off.

We never saw him ride but chinese democracy cover is abike 🤘😅

ITW is absolute garbage, and deserves it's place on this list.

Who remembers 1999-2002, when we were hearings stories of all these mythical songs that sounded like Led Zeppelin meets Queen with a bit of Nine Inch Nails etc....

Turns out, it was a collection of about 19 songs - that contained absolute turds such as If the World, Oh My God, Shacklers Revenge, Riad, Scraped, Silkworms, Catcher in the Rye, Atlas Shrugged, and absolute mediocrity such as IRS, Prostitute and Chinese Democracy, Perhaps, HardSkool etc.

The biggest waste of time, musicians and studios ever.

Wow, I hate your opinion so much 😂😂

    Anyway, you're entitled to it!

I'm still thankful for Buckethead's TWAT solo, the song does nothing for me until his solo starts.

Also, his Nightrain solo was pretty fucking awesome as well.

DJ couldn't bend a note even if his life depended on it. He made Robin's This I Love solo sound generic as hell. Never forgave him for that.

Bucket was a better fit for what Axl wanted to do with CD than Bumblefoot was. I like the guy and he is a good guitarist, but his style is way different.

    All true!

I still prefer generic dj's this i love solo over slash noodling anything over this I love. I find it sad that nobody decided to just do robin's perfect solo note for note

Sales do matter though. If gnrs album bombs with Slash and Duff, that's big news. Bad new travels fast and that leads to bad uptake in tickets. It's a promotional tool after all, hiding the record and only focussing for the people that will buy regardless is a poor idea and besides making an album for purely artistic reasons it is a bad business move.

As a fan, I'm happy if they just get a record out! I don't care if it's not loved or is loved or sells 5million or 10k. I'd love to see the back in smaller arenas anyway😄

Albums just don't sale anyway. You may be a fully reunited gnr or justin bieber it just sale a lot. Streams and features in movies, series etc is what matter.

As for views on youtube gnr wont have more views until they sponsore heavily their posts. Bands like acdc n metallica n ozzy get 15-20 million views cause of it. You can't hope for your new songs to naturally explode on internet. That gets even tougher without a video and various interviews, late shows etc.

Let's be honest  ; do you think that Hard Skool and Absurd could be in a GNR album ?? do you think it at the level of this band (exept "my word" !!). I already stop listened to this 2 tracks....sadly

For me hardskool has nothing to envy to a lot of uyi songs, some lies (used to lover, one in a million), appetite (anything or think about you.)

It's been a while since I kept up with recent GNR shows, but are they done with playing songs at a bazillion BPM? This is a breath of fresh air compared to how fast they were playing before.

Also, I second that Fortus should stick to Chinese material. What was that first solo, woof...Leave the bluesy Appetite stuff to Slash and give him the shreddy Chinese stuff. And, yes, Axl sounded great here.

I would add, leave every chinese lead to fortus! Please!
