  1. How big are those venues?

they are all arenas anywhere from 10,000 to 17,000

Most are in the 16-18k capacity. I know that the ACC in Toronto and Bell Centre in Montreal holds close to 20k for hockey games, I imagine it's not far off from that.

There are smaller venues like Pepsi Colosseum in Quebec City (15k) and the John Labatt Centre (10k) where I saw my favourite shows. To be honest, the smaller the venue has been the better show. Toronto wasn't that great mostly due to Toronto be a lame place to see anything and Axl likes Toronto so much he takes his time getting to the stage, which doesn't go over well with the business crowd who have to be up at 7:00 to work.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

montreal's bell center is the biggest arena in north america it holds 21 162, not sure about 162.

this was our fist gig! we changed our drummer recently to play with an old friend of mine ( better drummer too)

ps: dont come with comments like: why dyou pay fucking tribute to guns instead of doing your own songs or ohhh another tribute band...

I am working on a record, I just do gnr because I love it and... obviously for money and pay my record!!!

    love ya jo

  6. it really depends on how I wanna sing, on these 2 songs I really keep it easy. i've some other stuff where I use other voices ;)

I'm working on getting a rock song on myspace, but I cannot do whatever I want with these songs..

btw on a complete otherside I'll put some demos of my gnr tribute band guns n flowers on soon.

  7. so this is my solo project. since I'm here almost everyday I thought it would be nice to share my first sample with you.

  8. quote

And I'd count Metallica (a band I kind of hate) as a '70s band... ditto for Kiss... just because they were active then doesn't mean that's when they broke through. Because by that logic you could count great artists like Tom Waits for the 1980s but I think Chris meant newly-surfaced bands that came about in the '80s.

metallica IS a '80s band kill em all went out in 81.

  9. this band has to stop covering the old guns...

fucken no!!since they are guns n roses, they need to play guns n roses. I don't see these guuys play an entire gigs with no classics. fuck man, axl just wrote those songs, let him play what he wrote.

as much as I like new songs, I would be fucken pissed to see them play only new songs. I mean they are good, but no where close as old guns.. imo. if they would not play old stuff, that would be a wrong use of the guns n roses name.
