In that case no music today should be able to express its apreciation towards their influences man. I truley respect your music opinion ODS because i always read these posts and most of the time i agree with everything you say because you look at the music from a unpartailized point of view so you leave your tastes out and express what you think of the music, not of if you like it or not. But this time i really must diagree with you.

Led Zeppelin II is grand man. Ok, we all know these guys stole a couple of riffs but they gave it their own turn and sense of rock n roll, its not like a blunt copy of the original material, i mean, I'm pretty sure a lot of you out their Love GnR's cover of Sympathy for the Devil but hate the original. Plus, this album was made on the road, and as you say, it was the cheapest and murky of them all four, so imagine what it could have been if it wasn't made on the road. Despite of it being "cheap", "murky" and "quite dubious of its originality", i must say i prefer this one over any other of those four, specially over the stones and creams albums, Jimi's falls very very short this one.

You can't expect us to go pick up a Robert Johnson album without going through Clapton or other blues guitarists who aren't as deeply inmerse in that music, its just easier to understand it. Can't run without knowing how to walk.

The moment I heard the intro to SCOM i knew my life was about to change, and seriously, it did, since that moment i got erally into GnR and changed my whole point of seeing things, and thanks to GnR i let the LedZep out and a lot of other music groups like Sabbath and Beatles.

I remember being 8 years old and being really depressed cuz my parents where splitting and laying on my bed listening to "Estranged" or being 12 and going like to my first big party and listening to Paradise City and dancing it with my friends, good ol times...

that will be a MUST-HAVE for any GnR fan

Are You kidding?! No REAL GNR fan would say TWAT is better than Breakdown!!! cmon guys!! Breakdown is like everything GNR is about!! The Piano and the great guitar soloes, the awesome riffs and axl's gritty voice singing with all the coherence of the band all going in one direction and at a steady speed, man, TWAT is good but it doesnt reach Breakdowns knees....Funny How everything was Roses when we held on to the Guns!

Adobe Audition is the one i use, and i also use it for recording sometimes, its pretty cool and easy to use.

If you had to choose from one of those, I'd say epi, but if you dont, just go out, look for a nice used epi standard and get a 15 watt Peavey, they sure do amaze...

Having not heard Made in Japan yet, and having heard live Zeppelin, I don't doubt that you are right. The thing that I always loved LZ for was the fact that they put out so many good records, they were consistent and on time until the end.

Having Heard and currently own "Made in Japan", i must say, its fuckin insane, awesome shit, but, there is no way in Hell it beats Zep's BBC sessions, those live recordings are explosive...Jus Listen to How Many More Times...so full of everything, you can almost taste it...
