Buckethead and Bumblefoot off the top of my head.
This.
And Brain.
-
Better a bland song? But yeah I'm willing to agree that Bucket + Robin is better than Robin on his own.
Better itself is not necessarily a bland song, but Robin's work in it kind of is.
Whatever, I really dig his leads
Thing is: it's entirely possible to polish a turd in the studio. Give anyone thousands of takes and they're going to come up with something listenable sooner or later.
The proof is in the pudding though, and the live shows reflect this - Robin is a hack.
-
ahh ok. There is another video floating around that shows more.
-
Here's TWAT from 1999 supposedly: (Probably is, as there's no Buckethead on it)
Thank fuck Bucket joined. The track without his solo is just not good enough.
-
With Robin as the lead guitarist, are you at all surprised that the album was rejected?
I'm sure as hell not.
-
^ I don't think that's it bro.

At the Perth show, Axl for some reason said "Bust a Move" at which time Bumble immediately played a few bars from the YoungMC song. I thought it was funny.
At the same show Tommy put on a hard hat from one of the security guys, Axl then sang the words "In The Navy".
The video where Axl wears the KFC bucket. Can't seem to find it!
Good call.

Let's hope the Chinese Democracy saga is now over.
Bring on the new material!!!
-
I noticed this ages ago when we first heard the multitracks.
Hopefully we'll hear the song as it was originally intended one day.
-
A couple of years ago Rollingstone magazine listed the greatest singers and greatest guitarist of all time. Axl was like 67 for singers , but Slash did even make it on the 100 guitairist of all-time.
I would put Axl top ten frontman for any genre of music , but as far as guitarist go I do not know where I would rank Slash.
cool story bro
-
Well that was fucking sick.
Ashba has a new fan.
-
Bring it on!
Got some kick ass seats here!
-
I like KFC , but a a musician who wheres a fucking bucket of KFC on his head and is near Axl...
Whom Axl thinks highly of...

buckethead did do an interview for playboy a few years ago, so anything is possible.
Link or it didn't happen.

Chances of it being real are 0.00000000000000000000001%
The last out of character interview he did was 14 years ago. EVH, Vai and Wylde have NEVER been cited as influences. So far this year more than 3 albums have been released. No mention of his illness.
I could go on and on.

Did you see what I write?100% bullshit.
Please verify the authenticity before posting this tripe.
btw - he was never in Primus, only Brain was.
Also the fact that Angus Young or Wacko wasn't mentioned seals it.
Mods - delete thread.
"Just for the record, that I think it's very important to let clear, I was not in charge of this interview. I didn't get in contact with Buckethead or anyone from his press office at all. That's different from the Brian Mantia interview my site did. I interview him myself, and got the answers myself, and that I can tell you it's a 100% real interview. But on THIS BUCKETHEAD INTERVIEW, I'm not sure, I'm not sure at all, because I was not in charge."
I already emailed Brian though.
Well you should have waited for Brain's reply before posting.
The interview is fake, end of story.

Just got word that the band is in town. Didn't say where, but if I had to guess I'd say Burswood.

Adelaide is pretty cool
I'm from melborne
Flying up in the morning
Have you been to Perth before mate?
-
Should be good, atleast it's a better venue then the accoustics fucked burswood dome. man that place is so disrespectful to bands sound.
Agreed. The other good thing this time around is there's no Robin!
-
Here's what it looks like;
-
Was Munky using Buckethead's signature guitar? I know it's in his axe collection.
-
So, who's going?
And what time should I show up? I really don't want to have to sit through Korn.
