So your point is that if it was intentional, Axl would do it live, too, meaning that it can be done live?!
He is not even doing the scream at the start of the verses live and I believe that was intentional. So no, I do not believe that every intentional thing he does on a record means he can pull it off live. If he tried to sing Absurd the way they released it, he would miss words. He’s out of breath singing it even as it is.

People still thinking the out of time vocal is an error. Things like this are good, they remind you about the true IQ of humanity.
Axl has done these things with his vocal before. The 2006 mix has it. It happens in 2 verses. You think slash and duff listened and missed it? And Axl? And the 300 people who have probably helped mix it? And TB? And not only that, they've left it out for a week and not made a single comment on it? It is intentional. It is easy to do. It is not a copy and past error. It comes in 1 beat early but doesn't cross over the previous vocal. It then comes in half a beat early in the 2nd verse. Then is in time in the 3rd. It's very intentional. Have a play on pro tools or logik. Now imagine Axl sitting there for 21 years mulling over a song. Either way stop clogging this thread with stupidity.
It is the exact same vocal take literally copy and pasted 3 times. Just because the mistake was present in 2006 doesn’t mean it’s not a mistake. Why deliberately paste it in correctly once and off time twice before? It’s lazy to paste the same verse, it often is done with choruses, but to vary a repeated verse Axl should record actual different takes. To give a different feel or timing. It is nonsense to paste the same verse 3 times in the same song but place it in different timings for each.
It does overlap the word “deserve” in the first verse. The 2 live versions I’ve seen this year (Detroit and MetLife) Axl sings them in correct timing and not like the new official recorded release.
There is no way this was intentional. It may have been noticed and accepted but even that is a stretch for how awful it sounds.

The fact that some fans think this was a mistake rather than an artistic choice is actually hilarious.
It’s exactly the same vocal take from the village recordings which are very old and had that line in time and placed correctly. In the “new” Absurd recording, the final verse around 2:50 has the line about “screaming fucking banshee…” in the same correct timing/placement as the older recording and live performance. The earlier verses, where the line comes in early (and on top of the previous vocal line), show it’s clearly a copy/paste error.

Who ya gonna call? Bank busters!
I didn't pay anything to upgrade. I had floors that were more than 30 rows back from Nightrain presale but were still $250 each. Now that the price for pit dropped back to the original $250 I got pit tickets for no extra charge.

I just called and upgraded. It took him a while to find pit for some reason, even though I found them on the site no problem. Eventually he found a pair. Give them a call!

This is such a fucking scam. There are tons of floor and pit tickets available as of this week. There were none to be had in April when they went on sale and they were $250 each. Now there are tons and they jacked up the price to $450. Fucking bullshit.

When I saw GNR in 2014 in Vegas I went to the pinball hall of fame and tried it. They also had it at the local bowling alley when I was a teenager and I played it then. It's fun for a GNR fan as long as you like pinball at least a little bit.

Mine is hearing "Oh My God" on the radio for the first time. I was just really getting into GNR and felt like I had missed out and they were over. I heard that song but they hadn't said who it was until it was over and I was thinking "that really sounds like Axl but doesn't sound like GNR...". When it was over and they announced that it was GNR I was pumped. I got the soundtrack and probably played that song about 100 times in a row thinking there was a brand new GNR album on the way "soon" :S

It's new fan club merch. They Posted a photo on Instagram of the new merch
I saw the same thing earlier. Jarmo said details on the 2015 fan club merch will be revealed March 1. I wouldn't expect anything more than that but would like for there to be more to it.

You think that Prince's performance was pre-recorded and not live?
Given what RHCP said last year about the owl, the vocals can be live (or partially live) so there can be banter directed toward the crowd, but the instrumentals are all pre-recorded
I'm pretty sure Prince played live a couple years ago
Bands never play live at the superb owl, so I'd expect the crew to just put together a medley from the appetite for democracy audioBut seriously, how nervous would Axl get if he, lol, played the Superbowl? I can only imagine the list of diseases, weather conditions, technical difficulties, etc popping out right after his performance.
Would likely be the same exact medley played at the MTV VMA's
Have you watched it? You can hear is voice going in and out as he is running and some scratchy guitar parts.
You could be right. But it sure seemed live.
Prince's performance was live.

I wish he would stop being so vague. If he's out, just say so.

Every leaked song was on CD though, so there must have had to been some influence.
I guess the influence could potentially have been the other way around as well. Maybe the 14 songs were chosen for CD and because they needed the most work/mastering etc. they were passed around from band to label and others and were therefore most prone to leaking. Atlas was intended for CD according to Ron but CD limitations meant it couldn't make the cut. Therefore they didn't put it through the same pre-release procedures and it was not accessible to leaks?
-
I asked Ron at the Vegas residency this year whether the CD tracklist was
a) the best of the material that was recorded
b) decided upon based on what had leaked
c) just the collection of songs that worked together as an album and not necessarily the best and not influenced by what leaked.
His answer was that it was c.

My sources tell me (voices in my head) that no one is out of the band and Axl will get the (same) show on the road soon, with Bumble still as butthurt as ever, Tommy like out of the set of the Walking Dead, and Axl still fatter then ever. Don't worry, everything is fine fine fine.
Don't forget this
I remember a rumour that Hogan wanted the vacant bass spot in Metallica... maybe he can fill in for Tommy

Both are terrible

This is highly embarrassing. Worst thing I've seen Axl involved in. Aside from Team Brazil of course.
-
I think they were talking about new (old) songs previously not played live by the new band! I'm maybe giving them a get out?
I think that is generous. Even if that were the case, then how would that not be "more pointless touring"?

NIN opened for Janes Addiction a few years ago, so to say Trent wouldn't take a support slot is ridiculous.
Even though NIN was on stage first, it was a co-headline tour. NIN was not the support band.
