I just find a new way to get one of those, so can someone please tell me how the sizes of these are? I'm wondering if I should get L or XL, I'm pretty slim and 183cm...

So, anyone who's got one of 'em, how do they fit?

To ship to Canada costs $30 when it's only $5.95 for US! Unbelievable! I can't imagine what they charge to send to Europe!

I think it's actually the European dates. In the picture it is anyway, I didn't order one so I can't be sure what they'll actually send.

Prince was the best half time show I've ever seen. He was awesome. I watched McCartney's but I'm not really interested in him so it didn't make much impression. I can't stand U2 either so that knocks them out for me. Aerosmith is excellent and would have been great if not for N Sync and Britney Spears and whoever else they had up with them.

Anybody who has medium sized hammerstein shirts (and design) I would love to pay or trade for them.

I have a really rare use your illusion shirt that is white and basically a drawing of the band onstage and the design at the top is meant to look like the person wearing the shirt is stage diving.

Other than that I don't have any very rare shirts but I have other AFD and UYI style shirts.

if you want the only hammerstein shirt i can give you is a size XL wich shrunk slightly in the wash and now is a size L

That Hammerstein one is still too big for me, I think I'll wait for one that fits, thanks though.

I'm speaking only from May 17 show I was at but - yea WAY too many solos. If they were good it may be different but Bumblefoot's solo was cool and flashy but just ok for me. Robin's solos were just awful. So sloppy and out of tune sounding. "Beautiful" may have sounded cool if not for his out of tune sloppiness. I did hear it on Rio though and it sounded really good. The only one I liked was Fortus' solo I'm not really interested in piano solos.

The # of solos is excessive too. It just kills momentum of the show. If Axl needs it to perform better it's worth it but it's kind of a drag.

Toronto or Hamilton Ontario Canada! Fuck I'll go to both.

I don't know, this isn't going to be the kind of crowd that one would see at a Webster Hall concert, you know, a bunch of NYU students being assholes and shoving each other around. I plan on getting there a few hours before hand, not like I have anything else to do anyway. Also, if you start shoving people around you are asking to get your ass kicked and thrown out.

If you really dont think a mosh pit is going to break out during wttj your fucking crazy. there will be all kinds of pushing and shoving, and they will do nothing about it. Its a fucking concert, its going to happen, its what makes them fun. If your going to bitch about it, then people get there asses to the mezzanine level, or in the back. If you want to be close you have to deal with it and stop being a panzy ass bitch.

These 2 posts are why I'm confused. I wouldn't be surprised in either case, I just don't know what to do! Bah I'll just bite the bullet so to speak and watch the opener Boo the bullet actually, that'll be more fun. :devil:

Ok I wasn't totally clear, pushing up front wasn't the way to phrase it. I'm used to shows like Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera - stuff where you do pretty much ride the wave and everyone's moving and cool. Not that I'm actually gonna try and peel somebody off the rail to get in front of them.

Anyway by the respons it looks like I gotta listen to that shitty band again. Fuck! I already had to see them at Rob Zombie. My concern is not waiting longer for Gnr (it's a given that you wait long for gnr) but having to hear that shit.

Thanks for clearing things up though, looks like it'll be a relatively subdued crowd compared with what I'm used to. I take it there'll be no pit? ha ha ha

I'm wondering whether I'll have to sit through Bullet for my Valentine in order to be close to the stage.

Normally I would arrive late and ride the wave to the front when the lights go down for the headliner and it's no problem. However I saw Alice Cooper at a GA venue once and everyone was so stiff and really pissed off if you pushed to the front. That's understandable, it was a totally different age group and crowd than if I go see Megadeth for example

So the question is which type will we have and therefore will I have to sit through that crappy opener to get close up without pissing people off?

why's everybody ripping on this band? yes, they're not guns n roses. no shit. nobody is. just be thankful that any band that you've ever heard of is willing to go on in front of a band who's cronic absences have caused rioting and destruction of arenas across the country. I really don't think booing them for absolutely no reason is going to help the morale of the crowd. shut the fuck up. you've waited 14 years, you can wait 2 more hours.

The problem is not waiting 2 hours the problem is having a really shitty opener when they used to have bands like Soundgarden.

I'm realising on the bright side though that we could make a game of booing them off. See which night they get booed off the fastest.

I saw them open for Rob Zombie unfortunately. They are pretty bad. screamo/emo is accurate to describe them.

Seeing how Axl was sporting the leafs jersey, might I suggest Toronto??? I think Toronto was the first large-venue sell-out of the 2002 tour. I know Axl likes Canadian women, so who knows...

I don't think tihs should be played on the radio. We already all feel like it's on it's way right? The wheels are turning and I doubt this will speed anything up. Only thing that's gonna happen is piss off Axl. Very disrespectful in my opinion.

It's also a demo and lacking in quality. We're all pumped about it but the average person will say "THAT is what's taken so long?!" Probably the fact that it's a demo will be lost in the shuffle and I can see his vocals being criticised too.

It's really unfair to Gnr for them to have kept it this closely guarded, to have worked on it so long - and now they might not get to pick how they want to make a first impression with it. Instead a demo is going to (possibly) be played as the public's first impression.

this is simply the demo (in much better quality) that was leaked this March or whenever.

it's the same song that was leaked on Eddie Trunk's radio show back in 2005 or 2004. don't get worked up that more songs will be leaked.

but as a side note... THIS SONG FUCKIN ROCKS!!!

I think everyone knows it's from the Trunk cd which is why we expect to hear 2 more from it
