  1. Funny to hear so many were in the pit. I was as well and with Lio! I had so much fun. It was a great show. The crowd was a bit mellow, but that's how Belgians are basicly. Besides, this crowd was certainly older, lots of people above 50 and I also saw lots of kids. But they were certainly into it. Didn't hear any negative stuff about his singing or performance. He could have done without the changing outfits though, AC/DC fans said it was gay:P

I danced, screamed and was singing along and so were a bunch of others were I was standing.

I totally lost it on 'you shook me', it fits perfect with his voice. 'For those about to rock' was great as well, he nailed it so good.

There was a fight in the front at one point for a short while. There were some middle aged drunks trying to get infront, pushing everybody and they got punched.

All and all had a great time, it was awesome to have been there and enjoy it with Lio.  <3

I like Axl being Axl not sitting in a chair!!!! The way Axl moves and runs and dances is what made him Axl. If he would have stood in one spot from the beginning he wouldn't have the following he does today. In my opinion any performance where he isn't sitting has been better than any that he is. Not vocally maybe but alltogether.

After Bon died, AC/DC has never been about the singer on stage though. The main guy on stage is Angus, so in that regard, him sitting is fine. If AXl could run around, I can already hear people complaining about him wanting to steal Angus show. It might be a good thing at the moment.

  3. I would have loved to see AC/DC with Brian. Couldn't get a hold of tickets, sold out in no time. He deserves lots of respect. But Angus and Axl on the same stage is a one time thing and very interesting. I understand hardcore AC/DC fans selling their tickets. Axl Rose is personality wise so weird to see in a band like AC/DC. However 'yay' them selling their tickets now, I could buy tickets for less money then the orginal price.

Because they do not want to leave their families?

Lol, are you even following the whole refugee thing? They do leave their faimilies, only not to fight but to flee. Most refugees are young men. Not blaming them, it's not a save trip going over the water and all. They hope to bring over the family as soon as possible.

But to answer Adriftatsea, like I said most are not fleeing from IS alone, most are also fleeing Assad. They don't want to fight his war and they don't want to join IS.

I'm sure that they will be returning to Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium or the UK some time soon! Get thrown out by one country? No worries; there are plenty of others to go to. In the meantime, Norwegians can sip their coffee and tell people that we must all help more.

The reached their quota Pappy, it's no their problem.?

case  in point Anderss Behring Brevik who killed 77 people in his absurd attack on Norwegian youth interested in politics :( So the fear of Muslims in itself may be taken to the extreme.

Yeah, that's what I meant with nutcases of your own?

Thanks for your answer Soulmonster, good to see you do understand were we are coming from.

  7. Sorry Soulmonster, but you live in Norway. It's probably the best country of Europe. You guys don't have to worry that much, except maybe some nutcases of your own. Most immigrants you have, are people from other western European countries. And when you do get ' too much refugees',, you send them back to the main land. Your country isn't floaded like Sweden, Germany and England. It's hard to get into Norway, so people chose other countries. It's easy for you to talk. Those countries have no problem with 'modest' immigration, but that is not what's going on the moment. I would suggest countries like Norway and Denmark to open their boarders more, but pretty sure that's not going to happen. Norway always pretends to be so 'left and socialistic', but it's not. Well, not when it comes to immigration of people from other countries, then western europe. So Norway adjusted their quotas and send the refugees back to the main land, thanks so much! While you are the basicly the richest country in Europe and have most space. Lol. Easy for you guys to stay all 'liberal' about this issue.

  8. I think, there are only a few people thinking what you said and most people feel bad for other countries and the people living there and do care. Actually I think when people say, what you are saying, I get very annoyed, cause I don't think it's the truth for most people. I believe most think otherwise, press or no press. Well at least in my surrounding. Actually we have a refugee centre close by and the whole neighberhood was busy giving the people furniture, clothes, toys and such, tried to make them feel welcome. We have also worked hard for an organisation who brought stuff to refugee camps in Syria and Iraq. Most people are not as disconnected with other parts of the world as you make it seem or as you might believe.

In my country most of the attacks in the world are in the news, only obviously Belgium is more in the news and we obviously feel more threatened about that and more involved. I don't feel bad of what anybody says, I just think it's stupid when people say stuff like Dazey did. I just disagree, cause my experience is totally diffferent.

  9. I really don't understand why you posted that stat Soulmonster and what you are trying to prove here and really don't understand your reaction Dazey. You think nobody here cares about that? Ofcourse we all do. But obviously now it's at our doorstep, we are threatened as well and it's something we don't understand and hardly had to deal with. Ofcourse we are upset, you can take the metro tomorrow to work and get blown up in a country were you believe to live in peace. Duh, ofcourse we are upset about that.

There are people who say: there was an attack in yemen and we hardly hear about it, why didn't that made headlines? And why didn't the western press make a big deal about that? Well, you know it was all over the news in the middle east, there it was a big deal. It was in the news here, only not as much as Belgium. Same story for attacks in Nigeria, it made headlines in Africa. Since Belgium (Flanders) and my country are strongly connected, pretty sure it's also more news here, then in most other countries in Europe.

Stupid stuff, like it is a competition which bombing is worse and deserves the most news. It's all horrible, but when I get attacked myself, well my neighbour country, obviously I get more involved and more interested. That's only human and we don't have to be made feel guilty about that feeling by people who feel, I should be just as upset about bombings in other countries in the world. Ridicullous

But i mean these guys are supposed to be street type of fellas, bad boys some of em, lads, wrong uns in the sort of pikey sense of the world, people like that aint stupid, not in the sense of being susceptible to a con otherwise they wouldnt last a minute out there in the world.  If you've ever hung around with dealers, crooks etc they're not like...thick in the sense that they are easy to lead or hoodwink.

Agreed, they are not stupid. Actually I knew several street type of fellas growing up, they were actually really really smart. Never understood why they didn't use it for school, instead of criminal activities. Had so many discussions about that. Nowadays they do have a big mouth, thinking they can do everything and everybody will bow ans respect them automaticly. I think they like the power, like playing a game irl. Maybe even less for religion, but more they have this weird romantic view of it all. This is what happens though when confronted with the real deal and they were not the first.

  11. Some great quotes. He was famous for his quotes here as well❤️

    Simplicity

"Playing football is very simple, but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is".

    Juggling

"Technique is not about being able to juggle a ball 1,000 times. Anyone can do that by practicing. Then you can work in the circus. Technique is about passing the ball with one touch, at the right speed, onto the right foot of your team mate."

    Football wealth

"Why couldn't you beat a richer club? I've never seen a bag of money score a goal."

    Hot air

"After you've won something, you're no longer 100 percent, but 90 percent. It's like a bottle of carbonated water where the cap is removed for a short while. Afterwards there's a little less gas inside."

    Time flies

"When you play a match, it is statistically proven that players actually have the ball three minutes on average. So, the most important thing is what do you do during those 87 minutes when you do not have the ball. That is what determines wether you're a good player or not."

  12. I was a little kid though. My brother took me to the games. It was our sunday thing. I have little kids, wait a few years before calling me grandma?.

I also saw Bergkamp play a lot and Marco van Basten. A serious bunch and I will treasure it.

  13. Yes, cause I am old. It was in '83, before he had a fight with Ajax. Then he left to our rival Feyenoord, he made them champion that year. It was one year nobody minded Feyenoord winning. After that he came back to Ajax, but as the coach and made Ajax champion again. Great story that is. ❤️

He was a football genius. He died in Barcelona, the city he loved so much and where he was loved as well. Still I will always see him as Ajax.

I am so sad now. What a horrible week.

  14. Len, I strongly want to make a difference between the boys and girls as well. Cause the girls are doing so much better, going to college and all. And also it's obviously not all boys, but a percentage, but that % is so loud, dangerous and fucking things up, it's hard for people not to generalize.

Ofcourse they come from area's where they all live together like Molenbeek and their (grand)parents come from the poor area's in Nother Africa. Also people from other parts in Morocco look down on those people, weird as it sounds. It are mostly Berbers we talk about, not arabs, they have a thing going on. But if go to a village in my country where only a few nothern africans live there and there is a difference right away. Way more integrated.

My own city experience is, that they are very interested in religion. But most are not following islam, however they talk about it a lot. They make up their sins during the ramadan, that's what they say ;). Nothern african boys have a temper as well. They love to play the victim card. And it's just not right, if you see that muslims from Surinam, Indonesia, Iran are doing fine. You never see them screaming about being a victim. They just go to school, get a job and live their lives. Like I said imo they mostly screw up themselves. You don't even want to know, how many discussions I had with boys like that back in the day. So I had a cleaning job in between one school to another, they laughed at me. They would never clean an office, that's no job, too good for that. Oh Len, I did that job with an elder softspoken muslim couple from Pakistan btw, they had no problem with it. They were just happy they had a job and lived in our country. They always brought me food as well, haha great people. Anyway to me it's not hard to understand, how some boys fall for IS, it's a temper, macho thing as well. But if you see they don't even respect IS and get shot by them, you know what we are dealing with.

Ofcourse lots of nothern africans in Molenbeek are upset now and finally see the problem. Guess something really bad has to happen first before people open their eyes.
