also why he work his voice for Axl/Dc and not for guns and roses ?
Cause ACDC fans are coming to see an ACDC class show. I've been in a couple of those Axl/DC european shows and trust me fans were ready to leave at any moment. But he kicked ass and gained respect among rednecks of ACDC.
GNR shows on the other hand is his home where he feels so comfortable that he does whatever the fuck he wants. Cause fans will be there anyway... He can pee on stage and crowd goes crazy. He farts and crowd goes crazy... For GNR fans just seeing Axl seems to be fine and worth the ticket money. Top vocal performance is a bonus! For DC fans top vocals is a must. No farting is allowed as a guest in some else' home.

WTF, world cup song? Shakira and Ricky Martin used to do this type of shit... So he's gonna sing Hola Hola?

+ all of these 3 were going through bad shit during their stint in the band.
Tommy - tough personal stuff, insane shit in his private life, much alcohol and wasted self, couldn't do it anymore and bailed out. poor guy. he seems to be much happier now, staying low-profile and doing small things.
Bucket - probably mental issues for years, additionally poor health (remember the cancelled 2001 summer EU tour), got bashed for his image.
BBF - strong neck and back pain after his car crash, long recovery probably for years, frustrated by no progress with GNR releases and being just a live band during Ashba era. seems quite happy now, altough I don't like his newer stuff at all.
That's actually true, though I meant trio of bucket, Tommy + Robin. Guess Robin enjoys artistic life as well with NIN and much more than when he was in GNR.

The trio of Robin, Bucket and Tommy will be always missed. Waste of talent with Axl of course...

lool good job !!! that´s what i meant
Don't do this to Tommy at least... I get the joke and all but Tommy had been more than just a hired gun and he doesn't deserve this kind of rude joke. His contribution in realizing Axl's idea is beyond words. (whether you like CD or not). Also he was probably the most charismatic as well as decent member of that period of band. Furthermore he was somebody special in the music world way before joining GNR.
Personally I prefer his bass more than Duff's. His sound is Rich and he's got lots of creativity.
And nowadays he's rocking with his Bash & Pop and I'm happy for him:

First off you should go to your work and ask your boss to cut your salary because you don't like weird corporate things.
Different times, different show, more rough Axl, Slash and Duff doing drugs and other shit like that. Show is indeed great but I'm more into 2016-present. They are alive, doing great, bad habits are gone, shows are awesome to see live and I can't wait to give my money to that weird structured corporate thing this summer. And have a great time, as always.
Chill dude. It is a corporate brand indeed.

I was thinking about this the other day. If that's the case, how come the have permission to use those private Axl photos on the book?
Idk, seems like the box is set around Axl. With the book and the video for SOYL having no visual reference to the other members.
Well my assumption is that Everytime they (Universal big guys) wanna put out something from GN'R they give Axl a call saying "yo lazy ass, time to pay the cheques. We wanna release this on that date. And here's your deadline if you wanna go over the package design so put your shit together. Anyways the release date goes as planned". So uncle Axl contributes as much as he can or likes.
This was the case with Greatest Hits which apparently made Axl so mad that he doesn't consider that as part of GN'R catalogue.
From what I remember, they had to put out Greatest Hits because Axl's time window to release new album had been expired (despite stretching deadlines over and over).

Universal releases stuff every few years regardless of Axl's decision. Live Era, Greatest Hits and now this boxset

Axl worked on Chinese D from 1996-2008 and he doesn't even let go of all the material.
Based on all the evidence we've got so far, except from ChiDem tracks (and shitty remixes of the same tracks! and Oh My God of course), Axl might have only 3 or 4 new unheard songs left in his vault.
And these songs are unfinished and probably more like sketches, ideas or done with half assed vocals or no vocals at all. Here we are talking about songs that could not beat even the worst tracks such as Scraped and Riad to make it to the album.
Bottom line is that there is simply not enough material to be released as a new album. You might live in an illusion or whatever but it's time to wake up my friend.
1 hour ago, Kaneda said:The songs he wrote while he was trying to prove a point.
1995 - 2015 = 20 years + 15m $ ......twenty fucking years
Not enough to prove a point?
Can't thank UNIVERSAL bosses enough for forcing the man to spit out those 14 ChiDem tracks in the end. Otherwise all of us would take the dream into our grave.
So be happy with what you've got and don't have high hopes for new music. just go discover thousands of other great bands and records out there.
Go see Metallica and the perfect ways they answer the generosity of their fans.

We are just a bunch of "Clueless fans" who deserve to be mocked by so called manager who can't simply get his own shit together and his life and income so much depends on Axl's mercy that he can't answer a simple fan question.
and believe me the above comments come from an all time Axl fan with utmost respect to 2001 - 2002 lineup.

Replace all the crap covers like seeker and Wichita etc with legit 100% GN'R songs.
The Garden can be a perfect choice for Axeman, considering his current vocal capacity.
Ok if you insist on playing covers then do these: Since I Don't have You, Ain't it Fun, Buick Mackane,

I wouldn't get that much excited seeing him... a drummer who was in the band for like 4 years? lol
Hey Adler fans let's be honest, wasn't because of him playing the victim card, addiction, rehab, relapse shit, who would give a fuck to Adler?
