    Guns N' Roses are not already in Brazil!

    GNR coming to Aalborg, Denmark?

    The day after Sweden Rock? How can I see them there, travel to Aalborg next day, and still get to the front? arh.. wish there was a day break between :P Sorry, no more whining, this is great! Hope it gets confirmed soon!

    Of course! But seems like they're trying to get this sponsed by private persons, and no one will pay for it. Sucks.. Wish Bergen Live could just take over for them and put them at Koengen instead! :D Don't see them come to Hove, they already have Muse and don't need gnr. And I want to see them with their own show, non festival :P Already going to Helsinki and that's a festival.

    Can't decide between Denmark and Sweden, don't think I'll manage both if Denmark is the day after.. :shocked:

    hehe :P how bout' if you wait some time, and see if a norwegian concert is announced, then you can go to helsinki and norway! :D

    Songs like Coma, this band could do really fucking well. Bumblefoot for instance could nail and extended version of the solos, while still having respect for the actual solos that help make the song what it is.

    do you really wanna hear an extended version of coma? would probably sound good as hell, but that would bore the crowd to death, no matter how good they played it! :xmassrudolph:

    My Review:

    First off.... holy fuck!!

    This entire trip was made in a single moment... during the last part of Street Of Dreams, Axl came running up the center runway (i was to the right of it, front row). He turns, and right before he sings "Is only memories..." we make eye contact, and lock eyes. we are basically singing right at each other! we sing the "only memories" line, and he gets a HUGE fuckin grin on his face, laughs a bit and does the rest of the song. you can see it a little bit in this video. At that part he is literally right in front of me.

    cant really do a whole review now.... here are the highlights:

    - Me and Axl singin' S.O.D.

    - After November Rain, Ron starts jammin and the rest of the band joins in. Axl starts bangin on the piano and gets his foot on it, and actually kicks the camera off the top of the piano. After the jam he picks it up and makes funny faces into it.

    - After Chinese, he says "So... my people, forgot me at the hotel! So i had to take a cab here - second slowest cab i've ever been in! the only one that was slower than this one was in arizona, the only time that guy went fast is when we got to the parking lot and the crowd goes "THERE HE IS!" -- right into Jungle

    - The setlist was amazing, Axl sang the Shackler's chorus differently than on the album, and it sounded great! he sounded amazing the whole night!!

    - After the show, they came out to do the bows, they had about 3 chicks bring out trays of tequila (the also did this when they brought out Bubbles) and they threw some shotglasses out into the crowd, and I got Tommys.

    This was, without a doubt, the experience of a fucking lifetime.

    Would releasing more studio material help Guns put the past line-up to bed?

    Just wanted to get peoples' thoughts on this matter.

    I know we've had Chinese for just over a year now (which I love) and I'm stoked that the band is touring, belting out the new and old tracks amazingly.

    But I got to thinking today that for Axl especially to start putting the past era of Guns to bed, the band should seriously look at releasing more material. Most people seem to agree that there is at least enough music recorded for at least one more studio album.

    I don't want to be labelled as another greedy fan who just wants more music, but how many here would agree that more studio music would help the world to see how this current line-up of Guns fuckin rocks and more importantly, how it deserves to be recognised in its own right without constantly being compared to the old line-up?

    i totally agree with you, BUT they need to record NEW material. if they release old stuff with bucket and finck on, thats not good. they need to record with this current lineup

    Is Europe next?
