  1. Yeah, I think fluid is a great adjective to use regarding Steve's playing. When you listen to Appetite, it's like white water rafting, holding on tigh and saying "oh fuck!", whereas the Illusions just don't have that vibe percussion wise. That said, I love both albums, and if you can't dig Matt's drums, drop a pretty penny on the MoFi remasters like I did. It was like listening to them the proper way for the first time. Well worth it, as in my humble 'pinion that thick shitty tone made those hard to listen to on CD for many years to the point where I've almost chucked them out the car window a few times.

  2. Well, sounds like a bitter old man to me. His ego makes it seem like the Crue is Zepplin or some such shit half the time, when in reality they're on par with Poison easy. Not that that's a horrible thing, but he needs someone to cook him up a reality check for sure :tongue2: . Silly Sixx...

  3. Seriously, I'd really like to pop the lot of you considering what a bunch of assholes you're being.

Anyways, to me it sounds like 5 syllables when Izzy's singing. Cool and stressing or cool ranch dressing, you tell me.

    BTW, fuck you!

  4. At the end of the song you can hear Izz echoing Axl saying "YCBM", but then it sounds like he changes it up. To me it sounds like "the kid could be mine", which would be funny. What do you cats pick up?

  5. I believe it's also referred to as a baritone.

    Eddie is a beautiful man.

I know what the fuck a baritone is, man. It's more the lack of articulation of which i speak. But yeah, I'll check out some of the live stuff you good folks have mentioned.

  6. It's a cool change-up. Do like the use of the air-raid siren effect. Not sure about the la de da part, as it reminds me of that M. Faithful part from Metallica's Memory Remains, but do like how that part canvasses across the speakers. Also, is there one song that everyone can agree is awesome from the album. Just seems like so much variation in opinion. :shrugs:

  7. Believe it or not, these guys are touring this summer, albeit without Mike again. Gonna say what the fuck and go see them in the Cities at the zoo of all ironic places. Real venue there, not some tent or some such shit. Actually kinda pumped! :xmasssanta:

  8. On the topic, the Foo Fighters should redo Nevermind too. No?

As much as I'd enjoy hearing Nu-Destruction, ultimately it would be disrespectful to release it in an official capacity, regardless of how Axl feels about his former band mates.
