I kinda hope it's Frehley/Bach/GNR, but I'm an old fart, so...
Also would be nice to get "Quicksand Jesus"!

Yeah, I think fluid is a great adjective to use regarding Steve's playing. When you listen to Appetite, it's like white water rafting, holding on tigh and saying "oh fuck!", whereas the Illusions just don't have that vibe percussion wise. That said, I love both albums, and if you can't dig Matt's drums, drop a pretty penny on the MoFi remasters like I did. It was like listening to them the proper way for the first time. Well worth it, as in my humble 'pinion that thick shitty tone made those hard to listen to on CD for many years to the point where I've almost chucked them out the car window a few times.

Advil? Fuck, Ron, you're in GNR, surely you can obtain something a bit stronger....
The show must go on.

Well, sounds like a bitter old man to me. His ego makes it seem like the Crue is Zepplin or some such shit half the time, when in reality they're on par with Poison easy. Not that that's a horrible thing, but he needs someone to cook him up a reality check for sure . Silly Sixx...

What was that, The Blues Brothers, where they're at the biker bar and all the glass bottles are hitting the chain link between the crowd and the stage? Could have my movies mixed up, but anyways I vote for the chain link option, as it's much more cost efficient that the Star Wars plan.

OMG CHINESE DEMOCRACY II STARTS MEOW !!
Ha! Yup, that's a good one! Words are meant to be played with.
Also, My 1st impression was the look in it's eyes is kinda Axl-like.
Cats make the best threads.

I dig the Lullaby version more. Seems like they're trying a bit too hard.

Parody is great, all in all. Something like that would be a fun skit if he ever did one of the late night shows. Or perhaps a video before RIR?

they expect people to take them seriously with a name like "Rockaholic" ? Cheese
I think it's more like they expect people to have a good time. Nada wrong with that IMO.

Izzy on YCBM
in 2011
Seriously, I'd really like to pop the lot of you considering what a bunch of assholes you're being.
Anyways, to me it sounds like 5 syllables when Izzy's singing. Cool and stressing or cool ranch dressing, you tell me.
BTW, fuck you!

At the end of the song you can hear Izz echoing Axl saying "YCBM", but then it sounds like he changes it up. To me it sounds like "the kid could be mine", which would be funny. What do you cats pick up?

That's pretty fucking funny!

This is pretty good, but something seems off...
I'd like to see it make a proper return also.

It still amazes me how good the 90's were vs. the following decade as far as rock goes. Great tune.

Many would work, but RNDTH was 1st in my noggin...

Where and what the fuck?
-
it reminds me of something Shania Twain would come out with
Should get airplay on country radio, as it is basically a really good "Twain" tune. Hit written all over it.

I believe it's also referred to as a baritone.
Eddie is a beautiful man.
I know what the fuck a baritone is, man. It's more the lack of articulation of which i speak. But yeah, I'll check out some of the live stuff you good folks have mentioned.

It's a cool change-up. Do like the use of the air-raid siren effect. Not sure about the la de da part, as it reminds me of that M. Faithful part from Metallica's Memory Remains, but do like how that part canvasses across the speakers. Also, is there one song that everyone can agree is awesome from the album. Just seems like so much variation in opinion.

Never been a fan of mumbling musicians. The Boss, Vedder...whomever else. Clue me in, what's the appeal?

Believe it or not, these guys are touring this summer, albeit without Mike again. Gonna say what the fuck and go see them in the Cities at the zoo of all ironic places. Real venue there, not some tent or some such shit. Actually kinda pumped! :xmasssanta:

Saw this one

On the topic, the Foo Fighters should redo Nevermind too. No?
As much as I'd enjoy hearing Nu-Destruction, ultimately it would be disrespectful to release it in an official capacity, regardless of how Axl feels about his former band mates.
Use your illusion lineup reunion (sort of) without Axl

I really wish I could be there tonight, as it's the closest thing to a 20th UYI event there will be. Seriously, it really bums me out... . . . .
