  1. I think most fans of GN'R want to hear the classics, I for one want to hear WTTJ, SCOM, Mr. Brownstone, Nightrain and many more. I would be pissed if They would only play new songs, so I say mix it up, play the classics and some new stuff too. And besides, can you imagine if they show up for Download and only play new stuff?? The people there would be pissed, if someone is not a huge GN'R fan, they really only want to hear the classics so my guess is that Axl and co. are smart enough to play the old stuff as well.

  2. There is an Idol show here in Iceland and the winner this year sang SCOM during one of the shows. It was horrible, the funniest thing about it was that only one of the judges said it sounded bad (said that Axl was just to unique and that he has no equal). In my opinion only a few singers can pull off GN'R songs and make them sound good and none of those singers are in the Idol contests.

  3. I want them to play a lot of the old classics. Besides, most people will be pissed if they don't play the classics at Download or other festivals. Only hardcore GN'R fans care about the new stuff, I have friends that listen to GN'R but don't give a damn about the new album. I love the new songs but I also want to hear the old ones in person so I want a bit of both. Here's a list of the songs I really want GN'R to play, in that order:

    Welcome to the Jungle

    It's so Easy

    Mr. Brownstone

    Nightrain

    Chinese Democracy

Live and Let Die (never liked the song but loved the 2002 version)

    The Blues

    My Michelle

    Outta Get Me

    Madagascar

    November Rain

    Better

    There was a time

    Patience

    Sweet Child O' Mine

    You could be mine

    Rocket Queen

    Paradise City

Also, and I know there is no chance, I would want them to play some of the stuff like Coma, Estranged, Locomotive, Civil War, Bad Obsession or something more realistic, one or two new songs :)

  4. The ticket sales have been good, at least in Sweden, Norway and Finland (they have added shows in both Norway and Finland). To the best of my knowledge the ticket sales have been good in Dublin too.

I'm sorry but this has to checked out by Madison, I hate when these kind of rumors begin, they just won't die until she check's it out.

  5. Actually I read in some interview with Axl that he was never that much in to drugs like the rest. He said he tried them but said that it came pretty easy to stop taking them. I also read an interview with Slash (I think, could be Duff) where he said the same thing, that Axl was the only one that didn't abuse drugs or at least was the only one who could stop when he wanted.

And as far as I know, Axl still drinks alcohol and he smokes cigars like we all know (only quit smoking cigarettes)

  6. Hehehe, that made me laugh!!!

Bon Jovi is inferior to GN'R and Axl, maybe thats why people write more about Axl :) Besides, what remotely interesting thing has that fucker ever done?? Nothing is the answer, go sing "It's my time" to bunch of thirteen year old's and leave the rockin to real men like Axl :P

  7. I watch the NBA and NFL alot and believe me when I tell you that Welcome to the Jungle is probably the song played most often during game breaks. This is not a new thing, it's been this way for years.

Other songs that are played often include, Thunderstruck, Hells Bells, and Enter Sandman but WTTJ is the only one you hear almost every game.

  8. If the album is really coming out, I can see Axl going on the show. Why not? It's good publicity, both for Axl and Howard Stern. If Stern gets an interview with Axl of all people, it's a great start for his new show and Axl really needs publicity if the album is coming. If the album comes out in March, we can expect to see alot of Axl in the coming months. But like always with GN'R these are just rumors.

  9. 1. Ride The Lightning

    2. The Call of Ktulu

    3. Metal Militia

    4. Master of Puppets

    5. Seek & Destroy

    6. Creeping Death

    7. One

    8. Whiplash

    9. Hit the Lights

    10. Battery, Dyers Eve, ... And Justice For All, Orion, Welcome Home(Sanitarium) ( I had to mention all of these and could have said more :P )

  10. Well, I only like the first four Metallica albums. But those four albums are great and I listen to them all the time. Now as for the Beatles, I don't like anything they did, it's just not my kind of thing ( I don't hate them or anything, just don't care for they're music ).

So my vote goes to Metallica ( They still ain't shit compared to GN'R, Megadeth and Slayer though :D )

  11. I'm going to pick my favorite, nobody can say who's the best.

    1: Dave Mustaine

    2: Dimebag Darrell, RIP

    3: Slash

    4: Jeff Henneman/ Kerry King

5: James Hetfield/ Kirk Hemmitt ( First four albums, after that not so much )

    6: Angus Young

    7: Jimi Hendrix, RIP

8: Marty Friedman ( When in Megadeth )

    9: Chuck Schuldiner, RIP

    10: Tony Iommi
