Ummm, ok I guess
Anyway, my favorite is Slash, then comes Izzy. When Chinese Democracy comes out we might actually have a debate about this. Having said that, I really like Bumblefoot and Fortus too but I'm not shure about Finck (I'll judge after the record comes out)

If he play's with the band in Europe, I think it will happen in Donington.

I like the way it's now more than in 2002, it's a great intro as always.
If I had to choose however I would like him to do it like on the Live Era cd or like at RIR3, those versions rock

The pictures speak for themselves, Axl is the one who is being held back and it shure looks like Tommy has been backed in to a corner.

Well people don't seem to care anymore that much. Yesterday there so much more traffic and updates.
People do care, first, this is a Sunday night so the people in Europe need to wake up tomorrow morning. Not everybody can have an allnighter waiting for updates. And second, we all know Axl showed up Friday so we're not as stressed about this show like we were then.

Since I first heard 'Better' I thought of it as a song to take the place of things like 'Mr. Brownstone' and 'Live and Let Die' on the setlist. I really think of it as an early song for a gig. They put it almost exactly there on Friday.
Anyway to everyone going to the show tonight, I hope you have a great time. I've got a Modern Studies exam first thing tomorrow morning so I wont be staying up or anything.
I hope Axl doesn't cut "Mr. Brownstone", I'm going to the Dublin gig and to Download and I need to hear "Brownstone" at least once.

And I add that there wouldn't be discussions if only Axl would call himself Axl and not GnR!
I'll go to see him in Milan as i went to see SLASH 3 times with VR... SLASH should know I did it because i really love him since I CAN'T STAND scott at ALL!!!!

Axl would have been successfull even without using the GnR name I guess...

He forced them saying "if u won't give me the name rights I'm not coming on stage!" that's the respect Axl has for fans, and that's how much GnR are a business for Axl
Yeah, the declining to go on stage thing happend but it wasn't up to legal standards. Axl later bought the rights to the name when Slash and co. left the band or somehow got the rights because they quit on their own free will (I can't remember wich way it was but he didn't own the rights until that point).

Isn't it enough that they play six unreleased tracks? I for one want to have something to look forward to when CD finally comes out, I don't want to hear the whole damn record before it does.

This really has to happen before they come to Europe. We need some good soundboard recordings and I'm not shure that we'll get any of the European shows (with the exception of RIR).

If this Bumblefoot guy has only been in GN'R for two weeks then it seems that Axl has indeed kept his options open. I mean, he definetly hasn't recorded anything with the band if he's been there for such a short time. Bumblefoot might only be a touring member for all we know, on his site it shure sounds like he's planning to return to his own thing soon. I hope Slash will shed light on this whole thing once and for all so everybody can stop bitching and moaning about a reunion.

anyone going to dublin? 2 emo bands supporting GNR (Bullet For My Valentine and also Funeral for A Friend)so looks like we may have some new guns n roses fans...allbeit emos, but still, more fans, the better, especially younger fans to keep up the fanbase.
Yup, I'm coming to Dublin, all the way from Iceland. I think I'll just arrive late to the venue just to avoid seeing most of those crappy opening bands.

No, I wouldn't feel cheated. However I'm not really in to all this reunion talk, don't get me wrong, it would be great but it's also highly unlikely. If the third guitarst would turn up to be Slash or Izzy and no other former Gunners would be there, I would love that too. But líke I said, it's all pure speculation and wishful thinking.

Could they be still using this?It's only rehersals and furthermore the rehersals don't feature Axl. On HTGTH they were talking about the rehersals being in California and as we all know Axl is in New York. Gotta love Axl, the misteries of GN'R continue.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm not really a big fan of Robins live playing, for example I hate how he plays Patience (I mean, I really hate it). However I'm fine with him being in the band as long as it's Axl's will and it sounds good on a record but I will say that he's probably my least favorite GN'R guitarist ever.
