However, I'll take your word for it, as Ron said something similar recently in an interview. However Richards view is the complete opposite, as well with tommy 'hoping' to have an album out by the end of the year.
Remember, this is Ron who has a sense of humour and likes to fuck with us. Remember the whole Estranged thing? 'Fuck estranged' and all that, then he went and played it at rio and been on the set since? This could be the same thing.
Or it could be that Ron is in the position to say that there is a new album out or in the works. It's not his bag,.

A few weeks ago, I talked to Ron, told him to have a GNR concert in the Philippines. Aside from telling me to contact some local promoters about it, he said he plan on having guitar lessons/seminar here, maybe August. Then he tweeted same thing, having such seminars on I think it was Greece? With him planning those, I guess no new album is really in the works?
So earlier I talked to him again, asking his recent tweet about him being in the studio. He just said he is producing for a friend's album. I asked him if they are releasing a new GNR album, he said "not anytime soon", and regarding leaks or news about new material to be released later this year: "don't believe anything anyone says unless it comes from the band or management, plenty of weirdos out there that make up lies to get 15 seconds of attention..."...
Sigh.
Oh well... Never get tired of AFD, UYI albums anyway.BBF says there is no new leaks floating out there. ron says it's lies and weirdos looking for 15 secs of attention who says there is new leaks. so what about the 11 song chidem remix leaks floating around out there in space?

Ron confirmed that he wasn't on the Swerl leaks. He made a video about it and also said that in an interview.

I was just think if he wasn't, ie it was the orginal version of the record or whatever. If so the finger of blame points directly at Brain, Bucket, Finck as they might want a Ron-less record out there.

No agenda bullshit there. Axl was shat upon by the public and the HOF and his band was spitted out of the HOF induction. So it was an ego thing. Going there would be admitting his own failure. And Axl is known for never admitting to anything he has done wrong or not well enough.
His ridiculousness peaked by saying that he couldn't write music because of Slash and Stephanie. He is a person that has never blamed himself for anything. It's just so ridiculous.
if there is no media agenda with axl, why didn't the media embrace chinese democracy and help it be a success on the charts with word of mouth and print promotion in newspapers, trade magazines, and the internet?
