Remaster does not help me be able to understand a single word in the verses of Garden of Eden or Right Next Door To Hell. All sounds great, though.

Not to mention that Axl has incompetent management and there simply may not be any musical chemistry with Richard, frank or Melissa to actually create something new and Axls voice is completely shot.
It will be an uphill battle to make a new record so if anything, it will be CD leftovers, fans should prepare to be disappointed.
This is dumb. It's been 6 years with this line up, with tons of great shows. There's obviously chemistry with all involved. Chemistry is certainly not the issue when it comes to this band making or putting out new music.

I saw GNR in Indy in 2011 in a half full Conseco Fieldhouse. I saw SMKC in 2015 in a 400 max capacity club.

Absurd even in Silkworms form is not an industrial song. Nothing we've heard from the Chinese sessions is industrial. The closest is OMG, but even that is really stretching it.

I think the one thing we can all agree on is that if the new album doesn't include "but who's the Mac Daddy", they're all COWARDS and frauds.

SMKC seemed to have run its course creatively, although maybe a longer gap between recording/releasing/touring as well as Myles doing AB stuff in the meantime could help with that.

He won't, baby, he's a perfectionist, hence the reason we are waiting for a new album for 14 years now.
Duff recorded two Ozzy albuns in less than 6 months.
Slash made his last album in last than a year.
Ok, I don't know what that has to do with them probably working off the most recent versions of the songs, though.
-
It would make sense to me that Slash and Duff would be working on the most recent versions of songs, and every personnel change meant changes to the songs. Presumably, Hard School was one of the songs that kept getting reworked, and the latest version is what Slash and Duff would be working with.

Brain must have been in blackblock before Absurd and HS debuts

Absurd and Hard Screwel both bop, imo. The energy is different than the demos, certainly. If you have any kind of synethesia, I get the same cold blue/steel gray from the production of those songs as I do from Better. I'd be pleased if they put out more songs that have the vibe.

Has anyone thought to try these searched on any other streaming platform

Village Gorilla Head 2 would be pretty rad.

They absolutely should have actually finished and fully recorded Bring It Back Home and put it in the box set.

Kind of strange to not include a live take of Coma considering they already did it for the Japanese LE, and also how it has been a staple of the reunion tours.

Double dipping on Nightrain, Yesterdays & Rocket Queen... they are from the same Vegas show in Live Era...
Nightrain and RQ are pretty much entirely a new vocal track from Axl on Live Era, though.

Kind of surprised no demos or early versions, at least from the songs that were from the AFD era.

Surely there is more money in releasing music than not releasing any music, especially as all the songs are written and recorded and just need Slash/Duff to put their spin on them, something they could do in a week from anywhere in the world. The sunken cost is already there. Releasing new music (which isn't new, doesn't require Axl in the studio, doesn't require layers and layers of tinkering and production) has to be more profitable than sitting on work already paid for.

We’re gonna see another Conspirators record before we see another GNR single, aren’t we?
Likely, since they were already working on new material by the time 4 was released.

Watching a bit of the show, definitely seems like there's a lot more energy from everyone in the band on this leg. Even Duff is moving around. Axl is super animated. These mfs love playing Absurd.

It's actually only been 13 years of calling Axl fat.

I listen to Absurd and Hardschool while doing some stretching before work outs. I still have a chuckle every time that the first song they put out was Silkworms, and HS has vocals from a completely unrelated track (also 20+ years old) copy and pasted in.

Actually I'd say Slash was the weak point listening to this particular show. Dude hard flubbing his own solos, completely awful on Estranged, while Axl sounded the best I've heard from him since probably 2017 shows.
-
I really would have liked to have heard Robin on Estranged
