I don’t believe they announced prior to the 2020 tour that didn’t happen. And they didn’t announce any before 2017 Us arena tour (there weren’t any).
I’m sure someone else can provide a more exhaustive answer.
damn i didnt know there werent any openers for the arena tour... last saw them on the stadium leg in 2017 and they announced who was opening before selling tickets... i mean i could care less cuz the only one id care to see would be baz and i doubt itll happen... got our lady peace in 2017 despise them
-
have they announced any openers for any of the shows at all? and is this the first tour they havnt announced whos opening before selling tickets?

the seeker was such a vibe killer in the encore... wasnt crazy about rosie either... only cover id actually play in a regular rotation is aint it fun

Golden Circle was already there in 2017. Basically they divide the pit in 2 parts : one is closer to the stage and more expensive (GC) and the other is behind (GA). In GA you wont be able to get in the GC area (barriers) so you'll always be behind and far away from the stage if you're in GA.
GC seems like theres pit room in front of it from looking at the map.. i know it was there in 2017 but there was no GC in montreal last time
i dont usually run for the rail anyways man i like to hang back so i can drink and piss at will lol usually go solo too so its easy to squeeze through if i want to

whats the deal with this golden circle crap? they didnt have it last show i was at... seems like regular pit is closer if u can manage to get up there...

Yeah I was skipping the planned 2020 shows entirely, but now with three more years on I figured why not. The price was right and I'm sure I'll have a good time. Last show I saw was Ottawa 2017 so I feel like I can justify $100 on this band once in six years!
I have a feeling we'll get a Canadian opener again. Is Our Lady Peace doing anything around that time?
no idea and im not a fan so i hope theyre busy lol best opener guns had here was bach but hey metallicas in town the same week 😂

Great location! Should be a solid summer night.
not crazy about it but i live 10 mins away lol last show was epic... i was reluctant about getting a ticket but i knew come august id wanna go so figured fuck it, regret now enjoy later... any idea whos opening?
-
i only paid 50$ more than what i paid in 2017... considering that most everything everything has shot up in price since then i can swallow it...
idk why montreal pit was only 302$ canadian all in, which is 223$ US... maybe cuz the shows on a tuesday ? i was expecting them to cost way more... no way in hell id pay 453 US tho
-
i don't really care if axl doesnt sound like hes did in his prime... hes fucking 61...what bothers me most is the show is 6 months away and i already know theyre gonna open with easy

yeah 74 pages in and ive decided not to bite this time... this will be the first show i dont buy tickets the second they go on sale.. and i live 10 minutes away from the venue... the announcement was underwhelming to say the least
if they shake up the set list for the first few shows ill probably buy a ticket but otherwise its a pass this time
FFS... i couldnt stick to my guns (pun intended) just impulse bought a ticket... i hate myself right now lol

I think I’ve never seen ticket prices drop prior to shows in Europe by any artist. This seems to be a thing in the US/Canada only (don’t know about ANZ/SA)
ticketmaster uses whats called "dynamic pricing" now... ive also seen prices go up
