Honestly, people sort of stereotype the wildlife to be a bigger threat than it really is. Yeah, there’s a lot of wildlife that’s dangerous. But you just don’t come across it often unless you’re not being mindful of your surroundings. I always go on a few nature-centric trips every time I go to Australia, and I’ve never come across any dangerous wildlife.

As for the crowds, they’re actually surprisingly tame. The first gig I went to in Australia was Ghost in a small club in Brisbane, that was intense. I ended up with two cracked ribs it was so rowdy. But it wasn’t passionate, it was just violent. The rest of the gigs I’ve been to in Australia have been super tame. A few days after cracking my ribs I waltzed right up to the second row for Slayer, even with cracked ribs I was totally fine.

yeah ive heard about the violence at small shows but im always up for a good mosh pit.. what got me thinking those fuckers were nutts though was when i saw people drinking motor oil for motorhead tickets lol

    "All new show".

Literally no other band ever says this when promoting things. It's such an odd thing to say.....and the "new look, new design but with all their classic hits" line just highlights than it really has no intention of being very different at all.

all new pyro and video show.. same set list lol

There are literally hundreds of reasons to go to Australia. If these gigs happen, and you do go, make a proper holiday out of it. Get outside the cities, see some of the stunning nature, enjoy the country. It’s really an incredible place.

so ive heard... i have a few friends from high school that moved there actually and i love nature but im not a big fan of creepy crawly things ive never seen before lol i mean even the friggin crocodile hunter got got down there lol but yeah its been put on my bucket list now... heard these fuckers down there can really rock out too 🤘

I think the 'just one new song' is needed by people as a sign that things are at least moving forwards

i hear ya... thats how i felt in 2017 and 2018 tho... i guess some people are more patient than others

No, this would be going according to what Slash said in the fall of 2019 (i.e. no new major tour without new music).

i think you and most people that frequent this forum know never to trust what anyone in or around the band says

  7. imo we're way beyond the "one new song live is ok" point... that woulda been ok 2 years ago. i think it just goes to show that gnr fans have been brainwashed into accepting mediocrity.

im still a huge gnr fan so im not blasting anyone here, but i wouldnt be any more excited to go see a show this summer knowing theres one new song in the set, than i would be for the same old set list we've all grown used to.

at this point, i really think its new album or bust... but i also said that about the "last tour"

  8. cant stand vicky hamilton and here she is again stating the obvious. she just annoys the fuck outta me... i mean shes right but they could have interviewed 9 outta 10 random people from this forum that woulda said the same thing.

im definitely not ruling out at least one izzy track on the next album. just because he couldnt be bothered with endless touring for probably the same amount they paid frank, doesnt mean he wont write some awesome shit that gains traction and gets him back in the lineup where he belongs 🤘

As for me, I just can't justify the value of their ticket prices against the show they put on. If new material was released, I'd go in a heartbeat.

for me its not so much the price, its the 6 hour drive... i did it to see axl and slash back together for the first time in forever but right now, even a few new songs wouldnt justify the drive for me, especially since i know 100% that there will be another NA leg within another 12 months and theyll hit my city on that go around
